I tried amazon, they have yet to email me the beta key, or give me any sort of notification. I'm gonig to check gamestop (brick and mortar store) tomorrow, but if there are any online vendors giving out HOTS beta keys let me know! thanks.

Try pre-ordering directly from blizzard maybe? When I did I was able to log in to the beta server two days later. I didn't get any kind of notification, I just downloaded the client, tried to log in and found I could. This was 5 days ago.

Afaik the keys are sent out manually, so you just have to wait!

Gamestop. they print it on the receipt of your pre-order.

Probably the most easiest and safest way to do it. Like he said, the key gets printed on your receipt after you pre-order HotS. (only have to put $5 minimum for regular pre-order and $20 for collectors edition)

I'll echo that experience. The threads on Battle.net suggest that it hasn't worked for everyone, but I preordered the Digital Deluxe version of the game directly from Blizzard shortly after the announcement that all their preorders would get in (i.e. just after the official cutoff where all preorders were flagged for access). They never e-mailed me or updated my Battle.net account summary to indicate Beta access, but I can log in and play anyway.

I preordered from blizzard, downloaded the client half hour later and logged in. Didn't get an email or nothing, I just tried it on a whim and it worked.

Got mine instantly, as soon as i pressed the order button on amazon.(must have been an automated email)got one with the key and one with order details then i just cancelled....Get in touch with amazon they will send you one.

I was at the mall and headed into gamestop. To my surprise they had HoTS plastered all above the cash registers so I decided to pre order for $10 ($5 minimum). Im lucky i looked at my receipt before I tossed it, because the gem was right there at the bottom, the beta key. The sales clerk didnt tell me it came with one, so I dont know how I was supposed to know since most people toss their receipts. Anyways, check there, you should get one easily.

I preordered from http://www.game.co.uk/ got my key instantly as after you finish preordering (which you don't actually even have to pay for, you can cancel your order after you recieved your key) your beta key is emailed to you automatically

You check your spam folder? I pre ordered from amazon and had it like three minutes later.

Works on Game.co.uk, you can't cancel this preorder easily, this option was disabled temporarily on that webpage. I received key right after checkout on web.

yes. I just preordered it on the blizzard shop and downloaded the beta client. could login with my normal blizzard account and i can play the beta. neevr got an email with a key or anything. it just worked right out of the box.

you just have to search for the manual beta client download.... the official one of course.

gamestop, to get your heart of the storm keys lol.(it might still say storm iunno i got mine ~1 1/2 months ago and it sure as hell said "Heart of the Storm" beta key....but it worked so w/e.
