As we've seen in Ret vs White-ra showmatch at NASL for example, Sky Toss is very strong right now. Nope, they did it because mutas in ZvZ. They really should make seeker missiles 15 speed and 10 range just to test it. Then we can see all these great zerg players here try to 'micro' out of it.

Good game though. edit: sorry, tried, but i couldn't fix the quote tags that you broke edit2: nvm, it's fine It's so hard to not respond to this with 'nou lose'. Well, i'm going to do my best. It's funny (well, not really but people say that when they want to make a point), that you derailed the argument by claiming I derailed the argument, and then declared victory. Three cheers for him from anybody who cares? ... anybody? Again, your replies are unintelligent, childish and illogical. Ad hominem, and of course, because you said it it must be true.Maybe getting your GED would help. No idea what that is, and honestly, at this point i'm glad i'm not part of the same education system you were. Evidence or it didn't happen. So yes, you lose nou lose. Sorry, i tried.

Next patch: "We have given the old Vortex back to the Mothership, so that Protoss players can better combat Brood Lords in the late game."

The projectile moves at speed 15, so it takes 0.67 ingame seconds to cross range 10. That translates to about 0.48 real world seconds. The average human reaction speed is about 0.2-0.3 seconds. Let us assume, for the sake of this example, that the Protoss and Terran ubermensch have a reaction speed of 0.15 seconds (unrealistic, because they also have to box their units and click outside). That gives their units 0.33 seconds, or 0.46 ingame seconds, once ordered, to move their units out of the radius, assuming they know where it is centered. Assuming they have units spread across the radius, the units at the center have to move 2 range to get out of the area of effect. Therefore, only units with a speed of 4.35 or higher can escape the fungal growth from the center (i.e. nothing). This would also mean that for example, marines can only escape if they're a distance of 1 away from the edge. Of course, this is assuming that the units are only on one side of the circle. If there are units on the other side, the player has to make a second box and move those units in the other direction, or else they would have to move up to 4 range to get out of the area. Assuming the action of boxing and moving the second half of units takes them another 0.15 seconds, this gives them 0.18 seconds, or 0.25 ingame seconds to move out. Nothing moves that fast. Effectively, half of your units are screwed no matter what, and half of the rest are also screwed unless they're phoenixes. These are just facts.

So they "de-nerfed" one of the most broken abilities in the game which has been annoying people all over to no end just so they would NOT have to nerf their precious 22 range and super-healing abilities they came up with? In other words: They make the game worse because they want to save face. This is a very common trend with that development team ...

Or next patch: we have stopped releasing patch notes because people continuously cry about every change the minute it comes out. They don't bother to wait a few weeks for the meta game to develop or to pay attention to changes that are being tested for the BETA unless they buff their race or nerf a race they are having problems against (probably b/c they misunderstand the matchup). TLDR: People have ZERO patience.

Their obsession with the Infestor really blows my mind - they have a great opportunity to try buffing two units, one underused and beloved and the other boring and in need of change and instead they stick with the overused, anti-micro, spellcaster. It's a beta, show some creativity for fucks sake. /endrant

TLDR: People have ZERO patience. If we have to wait 'a few weeks' for obviously bad changes to be weeded out, then that's time wasted that could have been used on changes that could actually be good. Probably pushing the release date of this game back to 2018. I don't have *that* much patience.

This is mind blowing to me - you shouldn't buff a spell and potentially ruin the other 2 MUs after 2 weeks of beta testing because you don't like the way the mirror matchup looks (not to mention Fungal vs. Fungal isn't any more fun to watch). Give it time or at least look for other solutions. The obvious one that sticks out to me is giving the hydra a buff or changing something with the corruptor - both fixes the balance team has been claiming to want to a long time.
