The game is saved at around 99.7 percent, so when you load it you can sit back, relax and watch the game end quickly. You can also use the nova on the very last second for kicks if you feel like it.

Can someone please explain to me how loading these works? Like, do you need to change any files in your folders or anything. When I load some they come up in German - and they overwrite any of the previous mission completions I have already made.

Say you download the file on your desktop. Just drag and drop it on your SC2 icon and it will open SC2 and load the save. Some may be in different languages but it doesnt matter. Just play the end of the mission and when you check in your achievements, you will see the mission has been checked off as done. It will just rewrite auto-saves if anything but it doesnt rewrite anything for me so im not sure whats going on with you

Find your campaign folder. Save these files to it and then open then from within SC2. The missions should be almost complete (might have to move to final obj or wait a few seconds). After it's complete check your achievements (brutal 29 missions) to see if it is highlighted or not.

some achievements are triggered right when you get them. some are triggered at the end of the mission. these saves only work for achievements at the end of missions
1 shot 50 kills is an instant trigger. you would have to save i right before the shot was taken
missions that are to be completed in X amount of time are triggered at the end and can thus be achieved by using saves.
these saves are good for getting brutal or hard completion-ist portraits. not for individual achievements from missions

Right now I think we should all concentrate on completing the following in order:
1 - Brutal Mission List
2 - Hard lvl achievements (save right before the achievement)
3 - Normal lvl achievements

On Brutal I had I think 4rax 3 Reactor, I forgot. Just remember to constantly make Depots and SCVs.

Actually, that was done as the Final Hatchery was being destroyed. I saved too late and it was done after it was destroyed on accident. But since you were such a dick in the way you tried to alert me of this, I'm not going to try again and submit a new save.

hey man, i'm the original requester. thanks for doing that...but yeah, it didn't work? i don't know.
i managed to lift the CC and rax off and float them around to live but when the mission finished it said 4/8 hatcheries destroyed but it didn't trigger the achievement when the last one died or at the end.
i'm not sure when or if if can be done but thanks for trying

Can anyone sort the uploads by achievements? I keep on loading brutal uploads expecting to get the achievements, and they're all some (compared to "pro" gamers) really bad plays that win. IE: The ALL IN used 4 artifact novas.
Also does anyone have a save file DURING campaign where you have enough credits to buy the remaining starship upgrades?

This would have helped if I knew about this before I spent the last 18 hours going through the campaign again on brutal. I finished off every achievement. Anyway, I couldve saved more but again, didn't know about this thread. I've looked through my saves and dug out a few:

You'll have to beat All In completely, by yourself, on normal. This will take 30 minutes of your time and save yourself the grind. I have no way of going back and checking to make sure this works but as far as I know this was the last save I made before I got it.

its because you need to safe just before the 4th hatcherie dies, cuz u get the achievement ingame, and not after its finished, anyway, try looking up psystarcrafts channel and then zai's brutal walktroughs, its there for every map including _most_ of the achievements, also the 4hatches one, its not that hard

shatter the sky was defiantly under the required time but it didn't trigger the achievement.
these are all still good for getting portraits but they don't seem to work (or work at random) for achievements

Can someone check to see if these last two work? They're saved at a menu screen instead of in game so they should still be workable in any version. I originally started my brutal campaign in october or november but finished it yesterday in 1.2, my original save that was half way through still worked, just not a mission one. As far as I know both of these saves should work.

Note: Progress needs to be done in the original order you did the missions, so just follow the missions through as seen in the mission archive and start with mission 1. Continue in the exact order as seen in the archive. Do NOT do Pierce the Shroud. For some reason it glitches and reverts progress back to 0/25 unless you were to load from a previous save. I'm putting this up here because I went through the campaign about 6-7 times for achievements and what not. This save has my choice upgrades and what I consider the best and easiest mission path. I went through on casual to get all upgrade money and spend it as I did the missions and then I went through and redid it all on brutal. So if you're an achievement whore like me and want 0/25. Try this save and just do the missions yourself. You don't have to worry about buying upgrades or anything. Only mistake I made was waiting a little longer to get medic increased healing but even without it I had no problem at all doing any of the missions. I'll trust by using this that you'll know how to make use of resources such as youtube to watch strategies for any mission you're having trouble with otherwise. Particularly Safe Haven and Haven's Fall were made extremely easy by use of vikings and banshees. Get 17 of each and you'll roll anything.

If u load GetGood's "Wings of Liberty - Brutal" all u need to do is any mission. The achievement system checks the archive of the save and sees that there are all the missions already done on brutal. Happy 25 Brutal achievement lol.
edit: as a side note: the "liberty completionist: brutal" does NOT count the missions so looks like that u have to do all of them if u want the 29 brutal achievement.

Nope, The 0/25 achievement has to be done in the same campaign and in the same order originally done. To my knowledge, loading multiple campaigns for brutal wins doesn't further the progression because you're loading different campaigns and the progress will reset. The only way I can think of it might working is if you had someone who went through on brutal and posted all their near-victory wins from the same campaign and you loaded them in order but even then I'm not sure (still pretty new to this thread). I'm not going to say my save is the best possible way to get the achievement but I've certainly made it easier for everyone else. I got the max possible amount of money without glitching it (was never able to get money glitching to work). and all of that money was used on upgrades as the missions went so don't have to worry about bonus objectives or research points. Just beat the missions and the next mission you'll still be perfectly equipped without falling behind on tech.

No prob, Just check the achievement after every mission to make sure that it's updating. The only problem I had was when I did Pierce the Shroud that the achievement didn't update and my campaign reverted. I uploaded some screenshots into the post so everyone sees the tech I used. One thing I wish I had changed was the automated refineries instead of supply drops, but as a diamond level zerg, I couldn't get used to building supplies instead of overlords. I didn't get perma-cloaked ghosts because I choose to use banshee/viking on Shatter the Sky instead of perma ghosts. Also I didn't get planetary fortress because I went the wall of tanks route on All In and found perdition turrets to be better. This imposes a small threat on Engine of Destruction when you expand since you'll have to put some defense up for it. No other mission did I find a PF really useful. If you can't tell by the screenshots though, I used a heavy infantry army or I'd go banshee/viking or tank/thor when going mech.

What do you mean? Did it count towards brutal for kerrigan portrait? or are you not blinking in time?

It wasn't meant to do the hard achievement, just for the completion of brutal, but yeah, the speed run blinking is fairly easy on hard and only a little problematic with the broodlords on brutal.

This does not complete the brutal achievement for Kerrigan portrait - although mission is successful, it does not complete it, neither does "The Moebius Factor" found in this thread...

Yeah I got the same problem, but I did Echoes of The Future - Brutal myself through a speed run and it counted, maybe my save file would work since I used the save files in this thread too.

Well, one of these saves can get you the Brutal 15, but that's it. I think it's one of the Char missions, but I know it boosted my achievement progress to 17, and I read somewhere that it actually got someone the Brutal 15 achievement. Good luck.

i've only had saved game files of haven's fall and great train robbery give me the hard achievement for those missions.
other's haven't worked even if they are complete XX in X amount of time
it might be the way they original player did the mission first (completing it on easy then hard? instead of hard first time through?)
there don't seem to be any sense to most of it.

The achievements you didn't get have to be done all in the same save file. The one with the Kerrigan can be gotten from these saves because you can do them in as many sittings as you want. Apparently one of these saves gives you Brutal: 25, but I'm about to test it.

yea it didn't give me the brutal 25 achievement either.
I guess it just glitched happily for me.. I did find it strange since when I counted the completed missions, I counted a total of 22 not 25, but i got the achievement anyway... Lucky me o_O

i'm trying to go through and do a bunch of hard missions in one save and post it here and see what it does for other people.
up to 5 so far, but those were the early easy missions. let me see what i can do this weekend

I also got this from a save game (can't remember which, but it was for the Belly of the Beast mission) After it was completed, I started another, random mission (from the same save - in the archives) and aborted it - and voila! Brutal 25 achi... =)

Thanks for all the save files guys. Got the Brutal 25 achievement by following TO_slide's post. Now 26/29 on brutal from all the saves in here.

Terra-Tron's not hard, I got all the Lost Viking Achievements on my second run through of Campaign I think. It's really fun.
Also, you're right, this did work.

TO_slide, this save doesn't work for me. I loaded it, finished the mission and then in the mission archive chose the first one (Brutal difficulty), completed it and it didn't work. Also I already Completed all the missions on brutal but I'd like the hard achievment too.

yup this worked for me too.
if you wanted to finish brutal 25 as your achievement is glitched and you download one big pack of saves try the one for the secret mission, then load liberation day and play through it. theres a good chance you will get the acheivement.

kockica, i don't know... it seems to be working for other folks.
when you have this save loaded, after you complete the mission that loads, how many missions does it say you have completed on hard?
also, are you talking about the hard X and brutal X achievements right? not the brutal and hard completionist achievement right? they are 2 different things

I have 28 missions completed on hard and yet I still don't get the hard x achievement.
I'm missing shatter the sky completed on the hard difficulty so if you have that I'd be very grateful .

hmm...i don't know... that save at [url blocked] loaded, there should be 25 hard missions completed in it. beating any other mission should trigger it. it did for me.
who knows how blizzard works?

unfortunately i have finished all the others so i can't trigger any more
you will have to kill the group of banlings and the 2 tanks that are coming but it shouldn't be that hard

i suggest either blocking the banlings with a force field at the bottom of the ramp and storming them or sacrifice a sentry and let the banlings blow themselves up. the tanks are kills 224 and 225
this is a different save then from above. let me know if this one works. you have to do a little bit of the work though

Ok, so now I need only 2 missions completed for Matt's portrait, but only 2 achievements miss me. I need only ENGINE OF DESTRUCTION and PIERCING THE SHROUD but I need 'em in "complete all mission objectives" ... Hi guys just wondering how I load them up?
I've got the file on my desktop what do I do with it?

1) Download the file from the link to the right of the mission name
2) Copy the file and paste it in C:/Users/YOUR NAME HERE/Documents/Starcraft II/BUNCH OF RANDOM NUMBERS/MORE NUMBERS/Saves/Campaign (Please make sure that you make a backup copy of your Liberty Campaign Save!)
3) Launch StarCraft II
4) Select Single player and Campaign and Select Load.
5) Click on Campaign Saves
6) Load the save and do what you have to do

I downloaded the complete savegame package, i think its in the OP. Then i just loaded up every savegame for the missions i needed.
So if you have no brutal games, you have to load every Mission by hand, at least thats what I did and it worked fine. Dont know if there is an easier way.
Maw of the Void didnt work for me with that package and i had to DL a different save, but all others worked.

Okay so I started the campaign back in the day to beat it but I preety much just cheated to see everything, now I wanna get all the achievemnts on brutal without doing it.
So I started a new campaign and did the load saves thing but every time I load a saved game that would enable me to get achievments I beat the mission but does not reward me with the actual achievment. Any help?

I've got difficulties with the achievements in " A new Haven" and "Havens fall" - can't safe the three and the two villages (A New Haven) ... furthermore i can't protect the five villages in Havens Fall -
Would be nice if someone may upload a savegame

Hmm, I don't know what I'm doin' wrong, but for me, none of them gets checked in that achivement. Same for a Blitzkrieg Achivement from this thread.
I tried to load them ingame via the usual load command AND the drag'n'drop method, but nothin' counted - what am I doin' wrong then?
PS.: The Challange ones worked fine. Thanks :D and also that save from Piercing in the Shround - got the achivements and the mission itself counted on the brutal list. Just not the single saves kinda ...
EDIT: Never mind, the saves from the first page seem to work fine here.

These are both nearly completed saves, shouldn't be too hard to finish:
Belly of the Beast - Hard
-Saved at the start of the lava run, pretty much just run to the end and use any abilities along the way to get through, follow a brutal video if needed (this part is about 1 minute long)

All of them, start a new campaign and for each mission just load the save file you downloaded here to take you to the end of the mission.

Doing them out of order does seem to cause problems with the X completed achievements but not the completionist achievements, not really sure why.

I got problem with Hard25 Achievement.
Already got Brutal25 but can't get hard. I've seen link somewhere on the forum that supposed to be working on both (brutal and hard) but I only get brutal.
Is there any chance to finnaly get it?

As requested 3/4 of the missions on hard (one was done on an older patch unfortunately), sorry these are all one step away from victory as I didn't bother to save them at the moment before winning. Should be nothing you can fail on these but if there are any problems let me know.

Can i get some help? I loaded the save file for all in and got the Hard completion achievement (mensk) but i didnt get the normal completion acheivement. how is it possible to complete it on hard but not normal?? lol and how do i get the normal completionist acheivement. Also if i upload every brutal save game will i get the brutal compeltionist achievement becuase it some how says i alredy have 25 missions completed on brutal acheivement when it says i have only completed 3?

worksucks, if you could upload the 'All In' on hard with the achievement (using once the artifact) and the 'In Utter Darkness' one (kill 750 extra units) I would be grateful. Just cant beat those. Got overwhelmed at 94% in All In... And in 'In Utter Darkness' I suppose I could get it just saving and reloading before any wave containing overseers for the DT wall... But would take me long and I hate the map... Thx.

Last time I checked, TL doesn't support save sharing as it's basically cheating. I'm surprised this thread is still open, most of them have been locked.
