That should prove somewhat that 1590/1600 is a bug, and that 1600/1600 are hackers.
if you click on the links, they are just spammers who make every single keyword combination possible to get traffic to their sites/lure people to their sponsor sites which in turns pay them money. Ever try finding a stream of a sports game or even a show like Jersey Shore?? The internet is 99% advertising, so most searchs in google, especially of new topics (ie less than afew months old) will not be weeed out by Google's bots yet.
I searched about 30 mins for an achievement hack, not with any intention of using one, just to see if it was possible. After searching many of the "hacker forums" for blizz games, which showed many other hacks, there seems to be no mention of a working achievement hack. Just sending someone else your save files.
So I still think theres just something these guys figured out that can be done LEGITLY by EVERYONE.. that we havent found out yet. Remember, if they are hackers, they can hack into the MPQ and find the information, and actually understand what it means, unlike the people who did it on TL/etc and had no idea what it meant.

You're right, it actually is funny that no one thought to do that.
/achieve - awards all available achievements in the current game. try in a few different places (e.g. campaign, 1v1, vAI, etc). to get all the achievements. For some achievements you won't get
@Skyze: That's odd, did you try clicking on, like, oh idk... the first link?

This doesn't make sense. If they are hackers, it means that most probably they know how to click a few buttons in a program that was written by someone who knows what they're doing.
Until Blizzard clarifies further or fixes the bug, undoubtedly people should be allowed to theorize, research on their own, and discuss, without being constantly bullied for it.
Option 4: The achievement itself is not bugged, only the display of the achievement on the profile (both ingame and on web). This actually seems quite likely. What if we actually do not know what the achievement is, it does not give a trigger message, and it does not show on our profiles. We have no way of figuring out what the achievement actually is except for keeping a very close eye on our own stats. The blizzard employee's post could be a credible answer to this possibility as well, indicating the display bug could be fixed rather than a possible broken achievement.
I myself am pretty convinced we are dealing with the fourth option here, since it seems to have the least issues of the options I can think of. So the next step would be, how do we figure out what the achievement actually is. Fortunately, a few other people in this thread have done a lot of thinking and digging on this already, so credits to them.
Moreover, if this is the case, one of us who don't have 1590 points, might already have gotten the "secret" achievement, but are not aware of it because we're at 700 or whatever. We should all sum up our visible number of points and see if it matches our total or if we somehow have 10 points more than can be accounted for. Fortunately, we only have to sum up the Campaign achievements, so it won't take that long.
Mine are spot on, though...
This seems the most probable option to me too. My total sum is correct also, for now. Hope more people will check theirs.

Very good find. I suspect it should be in story mode, but Nova isn't part of those scenes afaik, hmm.
One other thing I think some new to the Blizzard bandwagon should realize: Blizzard employees don't always tell you the truth. If they placed a secret achievement in the game, and they tell you it's a bug, you should take that response with a grain of salt.

Exactly. So much stuff they say that is totally false, combined with the fact over 10+ people have 1600/1600 RIGHT NOW.. i dont know why people keep saying "its a bug"..
It's been mentioned before, but I don't think it's unreasonable to suggest that there is a display bug involved, while the underlying achievement code may still be there. I wouldn't be surprised if they fixed the display bug by the next patch.
In the event that the players who are currently at 1600 are instabanned when the patch comes out, I think it'll be fairly clear that this is a hack. However, if that doesn't happen, these rampant hacker accusations are going to look mighty foolish.

Lol... owned. Yeah, I'm seriously betting the people with 1600 are hackers considering how few of them there are compared to the 1590s AND that a hack could easily grab you an unenabled achievement like that whereas doing it legitimately would be probably impossible.
The first link just SAYS achievement hack.. It has no details on what it does, it doesnt say "Get 1600/1600 here!" or anything, for all we know it could just be loading a save file from someone (most likely).. It doesnt prove anything, and until someone downloads it and tries it themselves, I wont believe it even works.
I searched many forums of hackers, there is no such thing as a 1600/1600 achievement hack. Until someone finds PROOF that a hack can do this, I dont believe it, and one page that has a "super hack" which simply says "achievement hack" with no details whatsoever of what it does or how it works will not change my opinion.
And no one knows if 99% = 1590/1590 achievements.. the 99% comes from beating the campaign itself. It may be a simple issue of not clicking on one of those statue things on the wall or something.. no one knows for sure, and I sure as hell dont trust some blizzard forum mod who are known to lie often.

Suffice it to say that we're looking at a very different first link then. I don't know what you're searching for or what search engine you're using, but after reading the suggestion from the first person who posted it, it took less than 5 seconds to find this hack. Even with an executable downloaded on my machine and extracted, there's going to be no "proof" unless someone actually runs it and verifies the functionality. And I don't think you're going to find many people willing to risk their battle.net account over it, much less post confirmation. Either way, I can assure that the "first link" that I'm looking at is a legitimate hack, and not just something that says it's a hack.

You keep spouting crap with zero evidence.
There is one "confirmed" (read: rumored) hacker who has it. There is no way of knowing we have found all players who have 1600/1600.
You don't know even close to enough to claim a correlation.
Or anything, for that matter.
I know two *confirmed* (read: CONFIRMED) hackers who have 1600/1600. One of them I know uses achievement hacks and trainers. One of them got coop achievements with 10 second victories vs the ai.
The two that were first posted here got meta achievements DESPITE the achievements not marking all the sub achievements as complete.
That's how I easily say 1600/1600 = strong correlation of hacking.
I know one hack that does list "achievement hacks". Like said by someone else, no way I'm going to test it just to prove it does exist.
Yeah, Im frustarated with this too. I just need 35 more achievement points, but 45 to 1600... I'm hope they get it sorted out, as I remember, Insane FFA was impossible to get and now it's fine, since I got it... I'm happy that Im not the only one atleast.

I can't understand why would anyone do achievements on brutal. Its hard enough without trying any achievements which you can do all the way on Hard.
Ha ha I did them all on Brutal. I wanted it to last longer. Of course.

Hi! To Unlock this mission you should Start "Media Bliz" and destroy a red building at the right down side of the map, there is a vidéo :
After that there is a Secret Achievement in this secret mission called "Piercing the Shroud" => Use the A.R.E.S. to kill the Brutalisk in the “Piercing the Shroud” mission on Normal difficulty.
