febreze 167 Posts July 29 2010 07:11 GMT #1 I started playing this mission, but instead of going through toss, I wanted to destroy the zerg base first. I was successful in achieving critical mass of MM&firebats, destroyed the hive and some hatcheries but a scripted event overran the protoss base. The artifact was lost, game over. I was wondering if anyone else tried to go against the grain and tried this. Successes/failures?

IntoTheWow is awesome32278 Posts August 12 2010 23:48 GMT #3 I killed the entire Zerg base for fun, grabbed all reclics and killed the Protoss Guardians without losing a unit. Nothing happens when you kill the Zerg, the protoss attacking them retreat and suddenly lots of zerg units drop from the sky pushing the last P gate and the game tells you the zergs are about to reach the artifact.

Illuminaire Germany11 Posts August 13 2010 00:44 GMT #4 I destroyed every single Protoss and Zerg units in this mission. From time to time some zergs drop in the upper half of the map. But there is no achievement or feat of strength for doing so (like in Welcome to the jungle and the 1st Tosh mission).
