Hello TL! With Sc2 just days before release, it seems that community excitement over this is through the roof! We all want to get our hands on the sequel to the greatest RTS ever made ASAP! But alas, there is one question, will you play the single player before you start mass gaming online? Or will you split time evenly, or will you not be playing the campaign at all!?

I personally have not, although I feel confused sometimes when people discuss characters, I just never felt like investing the time in playing it.

I really have no intention on doing either of the campaigns, as the allure of multi-player action is far too great!

To be honest, the campaign is one of the things about SC2 that I'm looking most forward to.
SC always had one of the best stories out of any RTS game, and I'm interested in seeing where it will progress. (too bad I'll have to pay so much for all three games T_T)

campaign is cool and all, but i'll only play ONCE i tire of sc2 multiplayer.
which i'll only play IF i tire of bw multiplayer.

it will be awsome and alone for the cinematix i will play it. furthermore i just want to know the story^^

Due to spoilers abounding, I will be playing more campaign than ladder. Although I will be doing both.
Man, I just realized people could go around spoiling the ending on ladder.

Additional SC2 forum is neat, will we ever get a maps forum? Maps cluttering up general was slightly annoying when they were everywhere a few weeks back...

i read somewhere quite a while ago that the storyline for Wings of Liberty will run parallel to the storylines of the 2 expansions. is this in my head or did someone else catch that too?

I don't see why anyone would not want to play the singleplayer.
I mean it has medics, goliaths and firebats! Who doesn't miss those?

I know a few top foreigners who still haven't played the original SC/BW campaigns lol. I will be running home with my copy and finishing it asap to avoid spoilers.

I'm really looking forward to the campaign, which is strange because this would be the first game where the campaign interests me at all. Gonna try to beat it on hardest difficulty, and hope that it will be hard enough where I will have to retry missions over and over.

I'll play single player first, like i do for any game, then probably log onto multiplayer for 10 mins get bored then hop back into single player again to see if i can find any secrets.

hell yea i will play the campaigne first then the multiplayer, like that the placement matches will have more importance + i don't want to get spoil trought the ladder
