Unless he wants to take a sideways step to a solid Bundesliga side think his next move is very dependent on who remains in situ come the summer. He may want to give La Liga or Serie A a shot maybe too, although I haven’t heard many whispers there.
The best fit could well be Newcastle, but that depends on if Howe goes or not. I could see him being a decent fit at Liverpool but that seems Alonso’s gig if they do fancy a change. ma United feel to be in that awkward Solskjaer zone where the caretaker has done so well it’s hard to dispense with them end of season.
It feels true of players but even more so of coaches, timing and making the right move at the right time. Be interested to see where he lands
