And if they think starting Tannehill (if only interim) will help shake them in the right direction—it will only screw things more up. Mariota doesnt deserve his starting position. Dude got showed up by Garder Minchew, doesnt galvanize his teammates, holds onto the ball too long, misses easy throws, he airmailed a bubble screen...literally wtf? never played a 16 game season, in 2017 he threw MORE INTERCEPTIONS than touchdowns, over 14 games in 2018 Mariota had 11 TD's with 8 int's. Mariota is in the 5th year on the NFL and he still hasent popped. Dude is Mark Sanchez 2.0 not awful, but not good enough. Hopefully the NFL learns from the XFL this season. Their league a couple simple rules ref's have to follow and that's it. Should lead to fun face paced games like the USFL had between Jim Kelley and Stave Young in the 80's

Trying to figure out if I can just grab him for cheap instead of blasting half my faab for Hunter Henry.

Granted it may be because the 49ers defense is pretty legit, but a bit odd

My issue is that I don't believe having a stud CB is super important, a cohesive secondary unit ,pass rush and good scheme is a better option. I might be totally wrong. Patrick Peterson has widely been regarded as the best CB in the league for how many years? Cardinals have still been a train wreck. EDIT - obviously Cardinals have had QB issues. I think the rams should have kept the picks and addressed the O-Line, however if they are all in on winning it all this year then maybe it makes sense to grab what they can get. Furthermore I don't know how early scouts start looking at draft prospects but it could be they don't see a decent option who would be available at their pick. Have to see how it all plays out and judge the trade at the end of the year/

@ATL, v CIN, bye, @PIT, v CHI They likely need to win all of those games to keep pace with SF/SEA. If LAR don't succeed this year, it'll be a massive failure and commitment for their future. They will be broke as fuck in a year or two, both in capspace and in draft capital. Also, I'm happy with what the Jags got for JR. He was pretty cancerous and obviously didnt want to play in JAX, so getting 2 first and a 4th is pretty acceptable.
