Reserve driver != main driver, but I'd hope you'd understand that yourself You said he's signed with Alpine Academy when in fact he was moved to reserve driver back in March this year. AFAIK F1 hasn't made an official announcement, except that CRB will have a look at it, which I think should be happening next week.

Aka. Alpine never registered a contract for him as a driver, only reserve driver for 2022. McLaren's contract would never have been accepted otherwise I don't know what the CRB meeting next week is specifically about, but it's doubtful anything is going to change if Alpine never registered a contract with Piastri before McLaren did. Likely Alpine is going to dig up the contract between Piastri and Alpine Academy, CRB is going to say "Not our problem, you didn't register it with us. Take them to court for damages", and that's that.

Enough of that discussion, there's more interesting news today https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.breaking-audi-to-join-formula-1-from-2026.yr9pFVd5nSQBbZ7EZZDLJ.html

Is that enough sources for you? I'm getting incredibly tired of defending things you could easily Google yourself. One thing is explaining things to people who doesn't understand something, it's another entirely having to convince someone who vehemently argues against every word with zero incentives to look into it. No one has argued that CRB isn't having a meeting next week.. If the rest of the rumors stands, then Audi is also buying 75% shares of F1 Sauber, and will be taking over the Alfa Romeo team It's interesting that Audi managed to beat Porsche to the punch, who are still waiting for confirmation on the 2026 engine rules before committing

Since I've been away for two months and missed much of this drama and didnt want to rely on info from retarded sites who will do anything for clicks, which is why I asked this in my first post There's too much speculation about which seat he will get, dunno which source to trust, is there any official info about it? That was a simple question that required a simple answer for someone who had the factual info I needed. If you didn't have it, you didn't have to answer, no one pointed a gun to your head. Oh but no, you're the tired one because I clearly asked for official info and when I noticed that you're presenting speculation as official info, I objected not because I have anything against you, not because I wanted to tire you or any of that shit, but because I noticed your info is wrong on two accounts: one was Piastri's contract and the other was when you claimed McLaren's contract is valid. And to be clear, official info is when it comes from FIA, Ben Sulayem and CRB, governing bodies who can enforce rules/contracts. I've read all the speculation that Alpine's contract is valid, that McLaren's contract is valid or that both contracts are valid. That's the type of crap Im not interested in, which is why I asked for OFFICIAL INFO. Next time, READ what the other person is asking and you wont get tired, or save yourself the trouble AND DONT ANSWER AT ALL.

Yeah, my bad for listening to crappy commentators. What are your predictions for the podium tomorrow? I'm thinking Perez, Sainz, Verstappen.

Shot in the dark, but Verstappen, Perez, Sainz for me. Verstappen is ridiculous quick atm. Whatever upgrades RB has brought, they've knocked it out of the park. If Verstappen line sup behind Perez (He might need a SC or Red Flag tho), then they'll likely swap places. Leclerc may catch up to Sainz, but we all know what Ferrari is going to do: Nothing. So I think he'll end P4 at best.

Hopefully he manages to stay out of trouble at the start tomorrow.
