Are the Minutes Finally Catching Up to LeBron? For the first time in a long while, LeBron James looks tired. For the Cavs to avoid elimination, their talisman will need to overcome the exhaustion caused by carrying the team.
To be fair, LeBron doesn’t have whatever reason to be tired, but all the reasons. He leads the postseason in total minutes played, which is an accomplishment even without considering his grueling regular season.
LeBron’s teammates are also worth considering, if only to make the point that they aren’t worth consideration. A sorry band of point guards (first Derrick Rose, then Jose Calderon, then George Hill, then Jordan Clarkson) forced LeBron to run the point, as well as play forward, as well as post up. He’s Cleveland’s Giannis, but with a decade on him. “Not giving in to fatigue is a big part of who he is,” Tyronn Lue said in early May.
But LeBron has never reached this degree of exhaustion before in his career, and this is the worst team he’s had to carry in quite some time. Last postseason, he had Kyrie Irving. This postseason, Cleveland misses Irving more than Boston does now. Not only is LeBron pulling the majority of the weight, he’s also being pulled further than in the past. If this series against the Celtics goes to Game 7, that’ll be LeBron’s 100th game this season, tied for the most he’s ever played—and he’s not even in the Finals yet.
The Milwaukee police officer who first confronted Milwaukee Bucks rookie Sterling Brown outside a Walgreens in January was suspended for two days, the Journal Sentinel has learned.
Two supervisors who later arrived, escalating the situation, were suspended for 10 and 15 days, sources said. Several other officers were reprimanded.
Police Chief Alfonso Morales has not named any of the officers disciplined, nor has he detailed which department rules they violated during their encounter with Brown.
The officer who questioned Brown about parking illegally across two handicap spaces at 2 a.m. Jan. 26 was Joseph Grams, the Journal Sentinel has confirmed.
Grams, who served as an Army Ranger, joined the department in 2015 and was paid about $49,000 last year.
Speaking to reporters Thursday, Morales again declined to give specifics about the discipline, citing legal concerns, but said retraining will be part of the department's response.
"If you believe that I'm not taking this case seriously, you're mistaken," Morales said.
Morales, who has been the city's top cop for four months, said he remained committed to community policing but said change will take time.
"This is leadership and that's what we're focusing on in changing our department," Morales said. "We have to be leaders out there. That's one of the violations in the code of conduct."
so many questions to be asked, such as why do u need to park in 2 handicap spots at 2am at walgreens? is your car that big or are u just saying u have 2 disabilities such as cant read a handicap sign?

It's a really fucked up situation. I'm not black and even I get anxious around cops at night, I can't imagine how they handle the abuse. Police reform should be the next #metoo movement.
6 cops. And he had his hands in his pocket the entire time (2am winter) and then 1 guy flanked him and then suddenly get your hands out of your pockets then 1 second later BAM tackle and taze him. All the escalation were done by the police from the "this is my car now" up until the end, and all they get for it is 2 days suspension.

There are a lot of bad drivers out there who justify that kind of parking at that hour because the parking lot is empty. I see it all the time on groups that make fun of bad parking and driving skills. The question is why the police had that kind of reaction to a simple parking ticket violation.
I dont understand why Curry even passed to Green. To me it seemed like Houston's defense was perfectly set up for him to get an open 3 or bait out a foul on his 3 attempt.

They know Houston will swarm KD Klay and Curry so the 2 will be wide open, and it was. Green could have taken PJ to the rim and there could even be another pass to the hoop or back out at 3. Good play, just that Green got ahead of himself.

I dont see the lane for Green being that reliable. IMO at best he is going to have to go 2/2 from the line from that position.
KD out there not passing at all haha. 0 assist, even after Kerr's spiel about not being a ball hog: https://streamable.com/qkjg1 CP3 made some huge plays that game. (Damn just looked at the boxscore, from watching the game I thought he would have had more impressive stats)
CP3 is fine for game 6. This is going to be explosive.
My only complaint is that this series is either one team plays well and the other sucks (games 1 and 2) or both teams play bad and one grind out an ugly win (game 3 and 4). I want a game where these two teams live up to the expectation and combine for 50 or 60 3s by the end of third quarter both crossing the 100 point mark, and then go all crazy on the fourth with excellent playmaking, showoff of individual talent, and insane defense to a nail biting finish.
And I really love it that CP3 has found his home in Houston.
It brought tears to my eyes when he pulled Harden and told him not to worry and just let it loose and play his game and they can win the championship if they do their best, all while showing Harden how its done jumping up and down and relaxing his muscles. Harden tried to make something happen, and even dared a midrange shot and a really forced foul bait, his shots just wouldn't fall.
CP3 fault has always been that he tries to point god too much and hesitates to take over the games when he is really capable of doing so. I hope he wins a ring this year or next.
