We lost Danny Trevathan and Malik Jackson to free agency. Definitely star players, but one underrated aspect of the defense from last year was how deep it was. Shane Ray is a perfect example of that, since he got 3 sacks this week against Cincinnati. It's just puzzling to me how everybody seemed to think the loss of those two players and Peyton Manning's brain (certainly not his body) would result in Oakland winning the AFC West. If this were any other team, people would be talking about how they are the best in the league until they actually get knocked off by somebody, and that hasn't happened in three games against two good playoff teams. | ||
