The owner will pay about 650m to move to LA when he refused to put this same amount into a stadium to stay in San Diego. I wonder if the chargers or the rams will be the first to leave LA. | ||

All the good jobs and smart people are in the northern suburbs where Qualcomm, UCSD, Scripps, the aerospace/defense sector and the biotech sector are. Doesn't surprise me that the people watching Chargers games there are tourists. | ||

I live in SD and downtown is a tourist trap. There's nothing here besides the convention center and the Padres. When the Chargers play, downtown is dead. But they needed a new stadium but were too cheap to meet at least halfway on it. I don't want my tax dollars paying for that shite. I expect comic-con to follow shortly, as they are in need of expansion and the Chargers stadium was to be an add-on for keeping Comic-Con. | ||
