"If football were invented today, it likely wouldn't be allowed" http://www.si.com/nfl/2016/11/16/james-andrews-football-injuries-collision-sport the length of behavioural problems due to head injury varies widely; some of the behavioural changes can be very subtle. That's a pretty easy thing to say since football was nearly banned due to rising deaths in the pre pads era. Also here we go. Last Saturday for FSU to get their shit together and play as a team before the Florida game. If we lose and go 8-4 I'm going to die a little inside. If we lose both games there's gonna be hell to pay.

![]() + Show Spoiler + ![]() I wonder if his brain has coagulated yet. All I know if I had a kid I'd absolutely never let him play football. Not only is it dangerous it's also the most boring thing imaginable...

Footballs great to watch. It's fun to play. But it's just too fucking violent for full on tackle football to be a teenagers sport.

Two hand touch with friends was better anyway no coaches yelling at you and having to take weight training classes. Footballs great to watch. It's fun to play. But it's just too fucking violent for full on tackle football to be a teenagers sport. participation in flag football is on the rise. when i was a kid tackle-football was the sport parents most frequently held their kids back from playing. if you want that "football feeling" i think playing catcher on a baseball team can be good... lots of equipment.. you get beat up. its physically demanding... etc.

And OSU needs to win. Doesn't need to be pretty. UM vs OSU will be a worthy preview to the B1G CCG and who will ultimately get into the CFP. I think Wisconsin gets in being the best 2 loss team, even over 1 loss teams. And football isn't meant to be played by people who are scared of physical contact. It's not about showing how manly you are or thinking that you're invincible. It's a fun game that tests the limits of the human body in an exciting way. Sure, there are dangers to playing it, but there are dangers in being alive period. Have fun. You don't like it, fine. Don't ruin it for the rest of us who enjoy it. /rant

I feel like ESPN just thinks it's obligated to stir up shit. it's because he got the dreaded vote of confidence from the which means Tom Herman already signed the contract to be the next head coach blah blah blah /s He might get fired today though if he loses to Kansas

+ Offense showed up and cared even if its against a bad defense + Defense isn't dying + I've seen worse performances by the O line - Defense still letting dumb shit happen - Defense still dumb - O line still the O line I think this has been a good showing before the Florida game but we're gonna have a tough time against UF. He has all the hype though cause he's the urban meyer protege who is recruiting Texas high schools well at a Texas school. Also kansas just picked off Texas in OT. Charlie Strong might be getting fired in 30 min
