Newcastle, Sunderland and Aston Villa could all go down this year. That's three of the biggest clubs in England. Premier League attendance will definatley be lower next year. Even with West Ham's new stadium.

When has Sunderland been one of the biggest clubs? Haven't they only been in the EPL only 2-3 years?
Sunderland is a huge club they fill a 42,000 seater stadium every week (double the size of any clubs likely to come up). The average attendance is 6th highest in the League higher than Chelsea or Spurs. Their history goes back to 1890's and they have been a top divison side way long than they have been outside of the top League. They are and have consistently been one of the biggest if not the most successful clubs in England.
You guys where talking about attendances and in terms of attendace Newcastle are the 4th highest this season Sunderland are the 6th highest and Aston VIlla's fans have stopped coming for obvious reasons but they used to fill out Villa Park each week with 42,000 fans as well.
edit: The Championship is as competitive as ever so it's pretty hard to tell who's coming up this year. But let's assume Burnley (22,000) and Hull (25,000) the clubs are half the size of the one's going down.
Sunderland are Wearside not Tyneside. A distinction probablly for the locals more than anyone else.
The whole North East has just been left behind in the modern football.
On an entirely different subject how the hell did Gazélec Ajaccio get into League Une. Fair play to them, still having two clubs from Corsica in League Une is pretty surprising to me.

Currently 3 teams in 2nd division of Bundesliga have 48,000+ (1860 München 69k, Düsseldorf 52k and Kaiserslautern 48k). 1860 and düsseldorf are fighting about not going to 3rd division.
Nice to see that Augsburg is going to have 49,000 next year, they have 30,500 now.
If anybody was wondering why lots of Germans do not like this Leipzig team that has almost secured Bundesliga promotion. Transfer data + Show Spoiler +
Yeah £30 for an away ticket for the next 3 seasons in England. Pretty good deal for the fans, will save on average for a Chelsea fan (as we are category A games in every stadium) £300 a season. On top of that our club is also offering travel packages at good discount rates for all games outside of London.
