I can't remember a time EVER in any of our years of being good that an opponent ever scored anywhere near that on us without it being a double over time.

The problem isn't the tough 12 to 20-foot turn-around Js, he's actually pretty good at those. It's not even his defense, which I find actually decent compared to the rest of his team (Lin is a good defender though). The problem is the litterally impossible (or well, like 5% chance) shots he takes. Like when he's double teamed, with 2 steps behind the 3pt line, and he fucking turn-around jump-shot that TOO. No matter how you look at it, you aren't going to make that shot, so might as well pass it to a teammate. There are multiple occurrences of him making beautiful passes to teammates for really easy points, so I don't understand why he would go for shots like these instead of being the playmaker he should be. Well, aside from tanking, scoring title and all that shit, obviously. Kinda disheartening to see him play like that. When he brings the ball up after being scored on, he doesn't even wait for all players to kinda, you know, set up. He just posts up against the double team and takes some ridiculous super cool looking 10%-chance turn-around fadeaway. Like, wtf man.

(i mean it is the kobe era because there's obviously no other player as interesting as he is since we keep talking about the shots he taking rather than railing on any other team that isn't supposed to be god awful -- teams that are actually relevant in the next few years. if you really do love talking about kobe we should really be grateful to kobe bean bryant for providing us with great and entertaining NBA conversation material throughout the years and then admit that you are all actually the some of the biggest kobe fans)

Another idea would be if Lebron isn't going to respect Blatt then the team won't either. Get Hollins (edit: forgot he's on the nets). Regardless they need a coach lebron will listen to.

Get Hollins. as in Perkins? i guess he cant be worse than Varejao and he doesnt need the ball. he would still suck but he'd make more sense

Honestly expected the Cavs defensive rebounding to carry them very far but wow. Kevin Love is absolutely broken on offense in that system. Much more work needed but I think they'll be fine by New Year.

the worry though is the dumpster fire bench and lebron/love not looking themselves. according to amin and other reports kevin love is dealing with some knee and ankle problems. how much of this is chronic is anyone's guess, as he's finishing around 40% at the rim compared to 60% last year. blatt is honestly terrible and should be replaced. brings nothing to this team seems like a one trick pony

Like I said before - Dion Waiters is terrible. Wish they found a way to trade him preseason.
