Accepted. Last season Suarez was the best player in the world, just look at how much he carried Liverpool. People don't even care about how Messi and Ronaldo play anymore, they have just been hyped as the best players in the world for so long nobody really thinks about giving that title to somebody else. They play in lol-liga anyway.

Steveling, you are in no place to call anyone on bias. You are easily the single most biased person in this thread when it comes to talking about Messi.
Making the comparison of Messi-Ronaldo and Tchaikovsky-Nicki Minaj is not only incredibly insulting but just goes to show that you are so biased that you can't be trusted in these kinds of conversations.

They're both the best at what they do, but they are such different players its really hard to compare them. Messi is better at some stuff, Ronaldo is better at other stuff.

That is what im trying to say but i just got shot down and called bias. Just because i said i prefered Ronaldo in my post TT i even said Messi is better dribbler and ducker/diver between defenders where as Ronaldo is just running with his strength passed people and scoring more headers etc. Doesn't make either of them better than the other either.
Then i said some people who like X team will prefer Y player because of what they are brought up on.
Needs to stop this debate though and fast before it destroys this thread because it is bullshit, like trying to pick between 2 identical twin sisters.

This sounded like bullshit so I checked the numbers. Since Ronaldo joined Real, Messi has 291 goals in 281 games, and Ronaldo has 278 in 265. So, Messi has played in 16 more games and has scored 13 more goals, meaning that Ronaldo's goalscoring ratio is actually fractionally better. I couldn't care less about the Messi vs. Ronaldo debate (why not just enjoy them both?), but pulling stats out of thin air is not the best way to argue.
And yes, I'm fully prepared for the reply in which you completely sidestep the goal issue and point out Messi's assists, trophies, fashion choices, etc.

Haha yeah, well at the moment we kinda are  But not when Ronaldo was banging his goals against us.
