Edit: see week 17, they went for it on 4th and goal against the lions on their first possession and failed. I was referencing the illogical going for two sequences last week. Even if they could only convert at 40%, that would be sufficient to increase their expected point total compared to a field go, and I bet it higher than 40%.
EDIT: Look at this, they have their foot on Seattle's throat and they're only up 13.

Dallas' D-line put up a much better fight in the trenches than this Seattle team is so far.
Packers punking the Seahawks. Offense has to do something b/c they are leaving their defense out to dry.

40% is actually a pretty good reason to go for it. After a failed try, there's a decent chance of both a safety and good field position on the next drive.

Eh, I'm fine with taking the extra point in the third quarter. If you fail you can enter the 2 point death spiral where you have to keep going for 2 to make up for it.Another example where failing hurts you is if they score a touchdown... then you're down 9. It can be argued either way, but I don't think the first one with a few minutes in the third quarter was necessarily a mistake.
Aaron Rodgers looks a heck of a lot better than he has since he got injured in the Bucs game.

40% was their overall percentage on the year. I didn't look hard, but I couldn't find their % on 4th and goal.

The two point conversion thing last week was indefensible. You always want to go for it earlier rather than later because you want to be able to know if you're gonna need to make up the two scores (the down 9 scenario).

Seattle failing to execute in every possible way.

I looked up some mathematical models for that much time left in the game (I should be doing my homework instead...) and I'm going to concede this one. Down by 2 with 15-18 minutes left is a very good time to go for 2 (seeing stuff like if you have more than 25% chance to convert you should go for it).

My school only had 1 NFLer ever . And he was a special teams only guy.

All things considered the Seattle defense deserves A LOT of credit (even with all the bad tackling, lack of pressure and penalties).
The offense put them in a bad spot with the TO. The special teams put them i a bad spot with the TO. Then the last 2 times the offense didn't move + bad ST coverage = short fields for GB.
Seattle offense has 9 plays. Defense is keeping this from being an epic blowout. That and some GB drops.

Yeah, I saw the models punched out about 23% for the scenario during the game last week.

If the Seahawks rumors are true and they give Wilson ~20 million year they will spiral down fast
|
Lol. WIlson got trucked on that return.
WTF the refs are retarded. That Matthews hit was legal on Wilson.
|
Wilson got fucking wrecked by a block. Also, wtf was that pass.

What the fuck, Seattle is just getting housed.
