Indeed. You should all hate the Lions. One of their players tries to intentionally end someone's season every game. Twice against the Bears yesterday.

After ODB's insane performance yesterday, can anyone recall a waiver wire pickup who has influenced as many leagues as he did? I saw somewhere that something like 20.5% of teams in championship games (out of a 50% possibility) have ODB on their roster. This seems insane to me. The only guy I could think of would have been Gates in 2004 because of the position he played and the fact that he had 13 TDs as a TE, but I wasn't playing in drafting leagues back then, only salary cap out of a pool of players. Does anyone recall another guy like this?

Miles Austin did some wonky things out of nowhere. Also CJ Spiller was like a week 13 + waiver pickup that just upset the whole fantasy playoffs one year. Gordon might have been undrafted in some leagues last year, even.
This sort of thing is common. This is why I am in favor of waiver regulations that dont let you pick up a player after he has had a good game.

Forgot about Austin in 2009 (~1300 yards and 12 TDs after doing nothing the year before) but ODB has basically done that in 11 games. The sheer impact of that kind of performance over the matchups in which he participated must be astounding.
Another one I remembered: I think Drew Bennett had like 8 TDs in the fantasy playoffs in like 2004.

I know week 16 isn't over yet... but I'm excited for week 17!!

Atlanta is currently sitting at 8th in draft position and playing for a playoff spot next week. If I was a fan I might want them to simply lose.

Him whining about running up the score was hilarious considering how often he did it.
I actually like the Seahawk players, especially now that Golden Tate is gone. Sherman's loud mouth bullshit is funny, and he can back it up

Victor Cruz went from a complete unknown to 1500 yards and 9 TDs in one season. He was a waiver wire pickup in every league. I don't remember what his fantasy playoff performances were like that year though.

Colston was a WR/TE listing as a very good rookie, and I rode him to a 16-0 title that year. Undrafted by virtually everyone, and I got him as a waiver. Booyah.
|
Forgot Colston was TE eligible. I think Joe Webb as a WR deserves a mention.

I know why. You guys get a solid RB, and give him the nickname "Beast Mode?" Who the hell came up with that? Worst part is when you go to a game against the Seahawks, all you hear whenever Lynch runs the ball is "BEAST MODE" over and over again. Doesn't matter if it's a 10 yard run or a 2 yard run. Most freaking uncreative nickname I've ever heard.
That said, people just hate whoever is winning. There's obviously a lot of bandwagoners for Seattle but they have a lot of fans that have cheered for them for a long time, and they got absolutely screwed by the refs in that Super Bowl against the Steelers a few years back. There's teams much more worthy of hate than Seattle (like Denver)

What about Larry Johnson that year Priest Holmes got injured?

I am up 48 points in ppr for my main league. I have jermey hill and he has CJ Anderson and DT. Still a bit nervous considering what that broncos offense is capable of. I mean CJ Anderson and DT both can't have amazing games right????

Nice job, Andy. Not only did you throw a pick six, but you may have gotten Green's arm broken, too.
