The blowouts in prime time are getting out of hand. Is this just a run of strange luck or is there something going on here like new rules finally showing their impact.

I'm rooting for the Cards but the refs have shit all over the Lions in this game. That was pretty fucking bad. Wonder what grades the refs will get (even though we'll never know.) Lions offense was a mess anyways though. I hate Joe Lombardi. These short passes are completely asinine with this roster. I feel like a couple of times it was a case of inexperience (Ebron running a route a few yards short etc) but with the talent this team has (even with Bush and Pettigrew out) there should be an offensive TD. I wish I could see "game film" - not just TV cuts - of what the Lions are actually doing on O to be able to analyze more what they need to improve on.
I'm a bit surprised there isn't any talk about that punt return that was ruled down after review...

There is currently a division lead by a team with a losing streak which has really only managed to win against the other teams in its division and you complain about the AFC South? Haters gonna hate...

I heard recently that there have been more 14+ point wins this year through 10 weeks than any 17 game season in total. We could just have an anomaly on our hands.

Oh boy, RGIII doesn't really sound like a model leader anymore

Yea, that was a bad quote. Plus... it's just ridiculous. Great QB's make everyone around them better, not the other way around.

Lies, Brandon Lafell was fucking amazing last year right. Demarius Thomas also was great with Tebow, his stats totally didn't go up with Manning's arrival.

Obviously he's not elite in terms of reliability, but he is elite in terms of talent. I think you need to take the risk with the reward when you've got CJ, rather than checking down all the time.
And I know Bell ran well yesterday, but good lord the run, run, pass needs to stop.

I thought RG3 was getting unjustly buried by the media and his own organization, but that quote is so unfathomably stupid given the current situation.

Wasn't Ray Rice doing pretty much as poorly as Trent Richardson though before all this? I thought he had quite a bad season last year
|
Yeah he definitely was not playing well. But if he is available I am sure someone will take a gamble on him for vet minimum just because of his past success
|
So with Brandin Cooks out should I pick up Colston or Stills off waivers? Someone dropped Sanu today, maybe I should get him instead?

Also, if it's between him and Trent Richardson.
I might do it, just because I'm pretty well secured at every spot and Theo Riddick or Latavius Murray or whatever other RB I'd be able to pick up off waivers aren't gonna contribute much anyways, outside of disaster.

2. Trent Richardson isn't the runner Rice is. If you were in Indianapolis' front office, would want to rely on a back who averages 3.4 yards per carry for the rest of the season, especially with the Colts trying to make a run at an AFC title? We didn't think so.
Yeah, because what the Indy front office really wants is a back who will average 3.1 yards per carry!
