Not much to say about the Kc game [other than what I'm about to say ]... Hawks simply aren't making the plays they did last year in close games. They had THREE opportunities to get the go-ahead score in the 4th quarter, and failed. Their defense finally clamped down, but Kc's D was too damn good in the end for the Hawks' offense to make the necessary big play. Once again some curious calls having Wilson throw every damn down when it wasn't yet required. Kc hasn't allowed a rushing TD, yes, but passing is NOT the strength of this team dammit! So now the Hawks have SanFran twice, Arizona twice, St Louis (no longer a gimme... and they already lost to them), Philadelphia... Yeah, I don't think they're getting five wins out of that slate.

They are a good team and will almost certainly make the playoffs given their current record, but I don't think that they're quite the juggernaut some may presume. I just don't see the Stanton train carrying them all the way to the promised land. I'm more excited to see them next year. They have some major injuries coming into this season on the defensive end. With their defense at full strength and Palmer back, I would think they'd be one of the top teams in the league next year, if not the best.

I'm rooting for the Cards but the refs have shit all over the Lions in this game.

That was pretty fucking bad. Wonder what grades the refs will get (even though we'll never know.) Lions offense was a mess anyways though. I hate Joe Lombardi. These short passes are completely asinine with this roster.
