You're letting a judge subjectively score a skater who she's clearly very close with and another judge on the panel with a history of corruption. The woman with the blue scarf in that photo is another of the judges. This Russian girl scored 18 points more with the same routine (with a mistake), than her personal best a month ago, making her score the second highest in the last 8 years by a relatively large margin. Just be happy Russia stole a gold and leave it at that. Just look at the scorecards in this article: http://www.thewire.com/culture/2014/02/why-people-think-adelina-sotnikovas-figure-skating-gold-medal-was-rigged/358344/ "Russians medaled at every figure skating event they entered." Hehe, even though i am russian, i am actually interested. That case with pairs actually looks... interesting.

You're a South Korean who claims that the russians cheated, just because the russian skater won, rather than your south korean skater. And you're saying that the judges, who are professionals, and knows 1000 times more about the sport than you do are being subjective. If they're subjective, then what are you? If Yuna had won, don't you think that the judges would want to congratulate her? The only reason why it looks suspect is because the skater is russian. Let's take a look at the European Championship which was held earlier this year. Sotnikova's European Championship Long program scores Technical Score: 62.03 Component Score: 69.60 Sotnikova's Olympic Long program scores Technical Score: 75.54 Component Score: 74.41 So, her Technical score increased by 13.51, and her component score by 4.81 Guess by how much Sotnikova outclassed Kim in the technical score in the Olympic Long program? 5.85 points. So if you consider the 0.28 point lead that Kim had from the short program, and then replace Sotnikova's Olympic component score, with the component score that she got in her much less impressive performance in the European championship, then she still would have won the gold. Btw, for comparison. Kostner's European Championship Long program scores Technical Score: 52.40 Component Score: 71.02 Kostner's Olympic Long program scores Technical Score: 68.84 Component Score: 73.77 So, her Technical score increased by 16.44, and her component score by 2.75 So, as you can see, Sotnikova's component score didn't actually increase by that much compared to her weaker European Championship Performance, and Kostner's component score increased too. Not as much, but we're talking about a 2 point difference. BTW. Sotnikova's Choreography score, one of the sub-scores of the component scores that ppl pointed out as "suspect", was higher than Kostner's in the European Championship too. So, the general view seems to be that Sotnikova's program has got a better choreography than Kostner's. So, what is next? Will you now claim that the Russians bribed the judges in the European Champhionship too? Sotnikova didn't come out of nowhere, which a lot of ppl seems to believe. She was along with Kostner one of the favorites to win in the European Championship this year and the year before, and prior to that she was dominating in the juniors. Everybody was talking about Lipnitskaya, because she won the European Championship, ahead of Sotnikova and Kostner, but Sotnikova was their obvious medal hope going into the olympics. I love Canada and everything, but i'm not a moron. Canada was gifted at least 2 of those 14 gold we got in 2010. The IOC, however, does not screw around with men's hockey due to the NHL having such a big hand in the event. The IOC is constantly having the suck off NHL officials to get them to send the NHL players to the games for free. The IOC fixes events that it has a firm strangle hold on. from a TV Viewers perspective, Russia nad Sochi has put on a great show. they deserve a couple of bullshit medals just like Vancouver/Canada got in 2010. The ice for hockey has sucked balls though. from 10,000 miles away on TV... Sochi has been great... give those Russian mofos a few extra medals and call it a day! TO RUSSIA... WITH LOVE! To prove that you're not a moron, point out 2 of those golds that Canada was gifted. Was the Men's Curling one of them? ![]()

Canadian refs after all - rig confirmed ![]() no, the IOC stays away from Men's hockey because of how deeply involved the NHL is. The IOC is afraid to fuck with the NHL's power structure... and the NHLPA because if they do .. the NHL and NHLPA will pull out of the Olympics. The NHLPA has more power than other Olympians due to their union's strength and high salaries. HOWEVER, women's hockey did get fucked around with in 2002, it was hosted in the USA and so the IOC steered stuff in the USA's direction. USA got to put "their referee" in charge. and it was the biggest load of total fucking bullshit i've ever seen. Stacey Whatsherface called 8 THAT IS RIGHT EIGHT ...YES 8 TEAM CANADA PENALTIES IN A ROW More bias in favour of the hosting nation. what is Stacey Livingston doing now? ya, thought so.
