Hmm 16 goals in 37 games? Not a bad record for the first time in Germany? He is also 25 too which means he can get better still. Also to score a hatrick on debut is pretty sick ^_^
Just under 1 goal every 2 games is a darn site better than what we have, plus he is labelled as striker partner for Costa =P

And then someone else came in and played way more attractive football and won more games then he ever did without one of his "marquee" players in Fellaini.

Based on the players Moyes picked and brought up. But Martinez is an excellent manager who's destined to manage a top club someday.
David Moyes offered £4m a year deal to become Galatasaray boss after flying for talks to replace Roberto Mancini David Moyes has been offered a four million euro a year deal to become Galatasaray's new manager
-Moyes flew to Turkey for managerial talks with the club on Friday -Ex-Manchester United boss is very cautious about a move to Turkey -Joachim Low and Jurgen Klinsmann are Galatasaray's top targets -Moyes was sacked by United in April with the club seventh in the Premier League -If Moyes moves to Turkey he'll replace Roberto Mancini who was dismissed earlier in June
Big money signings has rarely worked for Utd, Anderson, Nani, Berbatov, etc. Hope this time is different. Also players who have never played in England almost always need at least a season to adjust. Utd still needs like two centre-backs and some wide players depending on how LVG likes to play. I read Nick Powell had a really good season, hope he actually turns out decent.

Yea but most of these goals come from below .500 teams and after the game was usually over. His passing and defensive skills are medicore at best.
Doesnt make much sense for me selling De Bruyne last year and now buying him who is worse in my opinion.

Reminds me a lot of when they bought Schürrle only to send de Bruyne to Wolfsburg. We at Leverkusen would have LOVED to make that trade. De Bruyne the way more complete and better player imo. But seems Mou is rly into fast, physical strong wingers, which also makes sense since they already have Hazard and Oscar, who are more the playmaking kind. But imo Aube isnt really an upgrade to Schürrle.

Berbatov was hardly a flop. 48 goals in 108 league appearances, plus a pretty special hat-trick in a derby. Very under-rated player. Other non-flops from our top-ten transfers include Rio, Rooney, RvP, RvN and De Gea. If you wanted to go back further, players like Keane and Andy Cole were record signings at the time...
=/
ok, not flop but never lived up to full expectations, the hat trick was his best moment but he was benched the next season even after he became top scorer. I guess it' 50/50, looking through the transfers, the only real bargains were chicharito, evra/vidic, park, saha. Most haven't lived up to their fees.

Its not the fault of the players that PL teams tend to overpay some players.
