Well like i said we can't blame them. They have better chances for winning tournaments like world cup and euro cup. It's also better for their careers.
If you're born and raised in Germany that's where you should play, regardless of where your parents are from. But I understand FIFA's rule to allow good players that may not make it into their home country's national team to go to where they have a chance, just not a fan of them using it in the opposite situation.
Look Germany how many "true" germans they have xD The same with France (many players come from colonial countries: albania, senegal etc).
Pretty sure that Ozil and Podolski are the only players that don't have ethnic German ancestry, and even then, every player on the team was born and raised in Germany (except Klose, moving there at 8, and Podolski, moving there at 2), and Ozil is a 3rd generation Turkish-German.
Oh, and 80+% of the squad plays in the Bundesliga.
im pretty sure that Gündoğan and Özil are in the same situation. Both of them born and raised in Gelsenkirchen/Germany.
Özil's family were born in Zonguldak/Turkey. Gündoğan's family were born in Balıkesir/Turkey.
only difference is that gundogan speaks perfect German, Ozil's accent is very weird and funny XD

That's pretty ethnocentric and a generalization...

I don't even...
He's Welsh, what do you expect? He was calling Bale top 5 even before the goal barrage. I'm no Savage fan but it's not really a big deal if he hypes up a fellow Welshman.
I'd say the Daniel Sturridge hype from the English press is much more alarming! A few days ago I came across an "Is Sturridge becoming the Premier League's best striker?" article.

How many have been better since he joined Liverpool in january?
I agree that the english media often overhypes their fellow countrymen, but I think Sturridge deserves all the praise he gets. He doesn´t have the extreme skills of Van Persie, or the insane flair of Suarez, but someway somehow he keeps scoring for fun! Lets hope he keeps it up tomorrow!
sturridge has been underrated for a while now. didn't get much play at chelsea so couldn't show his skills, but he's certainly england's second best striker (after crouch rooney)

Benteke has the most Premier League goals in calendar year 2013, and is much less selfish than Sturridge. He's also significantly better in the air. If we're going to judge a player solely on the second half of last season, I'd take Benteke over Sturridge without thinking. Beyond Benteke, Sturridge is less proven at top level than RVP, Aguero, Dzeko, Soldado, Suarez, Negredo, and Rooney if you still consider him a striker.
I think Sturridge has been great for Liverpool but let's not call him the next Shearer yet.

He's probably already the best English striker, since Rooney's best position is behind the striker and everyone else is mediocre at best.

So, yea. Not much to criticize them on.
Klose and Podolski were born in Poland, Kevin Kuranyi was born Sao Paolo and raised in panama, first time in Germany he was 15. Players with half ancestry: Boateng' father is from ghana. Aogo's father from nigeria, aroon hunt's mom come from england, mario gomez's father is spanish, khedira's father is tunesia.
edi: ok, i see your edit now. However if i see the starting grid that 5+ players dont have true ethnics, then i dont like it but i respect it. The same with arsenal london few years ago, zero british players.
Klose and Podolski were both raised in Germany, with Podolski moving there when he was two, and, like I said and you pointed out, everyone except Podolski, Ozil, and Gundogan do have ethnic German ancestry. Why does it matter if it's half or full? That's completely irrelevant.
So the point is that basically every player (or, if I want to be extremely generous to you, every player that matters) on the German national squad was not only born and raised in Germany, but has ethnic German ancestry (except for three). So I guess I see your point about the starting grid, but that doesn't apply to Germany at all. At most, you'll probably see 2 people out of their starting 11 that don't have ethnic German ancestry, and even then, both of them are part of the largest immigrant minority in Germany. That would be like criticizing the American team for having African Americans or Hispanic people on the team.

All of them are "true" Germans, welcome to the modern world. I don't know where you come from but let me tell you we live in a globalized world now.
The concept of "true ethnics" is bullshit anyway. "Deutsche" were always a weird mixture of former celts, slavs, germans and romans bound by common language and culture. It's only natural to extend the definition to people with ancestry outside of Europe, as long as they are part of our culture.
Just listen to interviews of Khedira, he has a more stereotypically German personality than most lol.
Cacau and Kuranyi might be the only ones you could argue were "stolen", but they don't even play for Germany anymore.
Ligue 1 special :p PSG wins 2-0 against a team that just got promoted... Scoring the two goals at the 90th and 92nd. our coach is trying a new 4-3-3 system with Cavani on the right side of the offense. So far it has given us a lot of ball possession but few goals, and a couple scary moments in every game. Tonight Monaco is playing against Marseille in the first big game of this season. Moutinho should be playing!

Man that was painful to watch... The first 70 minutes were non sense to me. They have Motta, Pastore, Ibra, Cavani and Lavezzi to play real football, and they played like they were Stoke... Long balls, fail passes, 0 movement... Then they realize that they really aren't going to bring 3 points home and they start playing! If they did that from the start, the game would be over in 15mn and they wouldn't need to run any more.
With Ancelotti it was the exact same thing, so I don't think there is any reason to blame Laurent Blanc, and he seemed conscious of his team mistakes at the end of the game so that's good. We are in August, the physical failures and lack of rythm is understandable but not the technical/tactical mistakes All these stars and it's Rabiot who scored :D Funny.

Stoke are basically the Barca of the EPL so i don't see how that is fair critique....
