Asik reportedly asking to be traded, doesn't want to play with/behind Howard. Bulls reportedly interested, but I don't see a way we can land him. He's too expensive for our cap and too expensive as a backup as well, even though we do need another big man. Having a good distributing PG is less important for the Rockets than having one who can shoot the ball well, since as I've said Harden is pretty good at distributing. If Howard acts like a grown-ass man and stops refusing to run the PnR the Rockets will be incredibly dangerous in both the half court and fastbreak game.

How's ATL's PG situation? Lin and Asik for Smith? they have teague who is pretty solid. not sure if Lin is what they want but asik would be good as it allows horford to back to 4.

what happens if lebron/bosh/wade don't excersie their ETO to become free agents and they stay for the final year of their contracts. NBA will be fuckeddddddddd, especially the Lakers since they basically traded all their picks to Phoenix for Nash.

Rockets are giving up draft rights to one of their international prospects and cash so that Philly will take White off their hands, and that is really the reason the 76ers are doing the trade for. Barring a 100% change in attitude, I don't expect Royce to ever play in the NBA. It's not his fear of flying, but his total unwillingness to even attend local team practices and functions, or even try to work on his problems.

Both seasons teams who also wanted him had better pieces around him. Signing FAs does work, and could work for Dallas, but they need to have pieces in place first. Next year we have like no one on contract at all... So we sign dirk for ~5M and if we have a good Pick we have 2 pretty solid assets for 1-2 FAs... But anything is better than sign players like Bynum/Ellis to be a mediocre team.

After 20 months of twists and turns in the Dwight Howard saga, a person with knowledge of his decision told USA TODAY Sports he will join the Houston Rockets. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because his decision had not yet been announced. Howard's deal with Houston is four years, $88 million. If he had stayed with the Lakcers he could've made another $30 million and one more season. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/2013/07/05/nba-dwight-howard-makes-his-decision/2492347/
