Kimi Raikkonen: "It was good to get behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car again. The E21 feels quite good so far, even if the balance isn't quite to my liking yet. That didn't stop us going through the programme we wanted to do which had a lot of aero runs in it. We know the car can go faster, we were just running through what we needed to achieve. It's a shame that we had a clutch issue at the end of the day, but that's why we come testing so we can find these problems and fix them.
He had a problem with the car. A PROBLEM WITH THE CAR. Can you understand that? That is what i said, he has a problem with the car. He confirms he had ISSUES with the car, nothing else. In Practice they do laps, to get data. He did 4laps then came in tweeked something, went back out for 4 laps. THAT IS WHAT I SAID. Please understand English before you respond saying im "wrong" when every post you have done is backed up my claims.
yep caps lock make your post looks valid...not
The point is at 12gmt when you posted "Kimi clearly struggling with his new car", you had (lets do this ur way) NOTHING to back it up. Lap times or lap count meant completely nothing at this stage.
"Both of them struggling to do "long stints" in the cars and it is very "stop start" they go out, do 3-4 laps and come back in" its not a sign of struggling also - it depends on program they run like kimi did, lemme quote again.
Autosport Live : 10:38 Raikkonen does one very slow run past the pits, and is then back in. Teams do all sorts of strange things at testing, all in the name of data gathering.
But if you just corrected your self and replaced struggling with struggling to do long runs then its ok.
Your quoting some "autosport live guy" i just quoted what Kimi just said in an interview with Sky Sports. Zere posted he was struggling with KERS and Seat Position. They also (in the interview i linked) said they were running different Aerodynamic set ups still. Yet your telling me what im saying is wrong? Because you read it differently to how it's typed?
He was struggling; the car was not set up right for him; then pieces of the car failed (KERS) He didn't do long stints; as the car was needed to be bought back in and changed around and set up differently It was very stop start; So kimi couldn't get a proper feel for the car
Which he confirms in HIS interview
The E21 feels quite good so far, even if the balance isn't quite to my liking yet.
But sure if you think i'm wrong and your right still, continue to post that what you read and what i typed are different carry on
There is alot more people when the season starts.....and yes i agree with Zere, this pointless argument of you saying what you read is different to what i typed because your understanding of English is different, then backing it up with points that prove my posts valid.... Zere put alot of effort in this thread for it to be good, not full of spam.

I dont deny he had issues, i even posted some tweet he did. The thing is at 12 gmt there were no kimis, anyoneelses quotes or sources to back up this claims. And then just came up with this low lap count which can be contributed to more reasons. Thats why i aksed what i ask.
Anyway i agree with zere this is invalid now. But i think this would be a good thing in this thread if anyone cames up with something which isnt his opinion (like stating fact) to back it up with as reliable source as he can. Thats all i will say about the matter, since i appreciate the work zere does here much
I was thinking about Jerez testing 2012 and how to compare times to the 2012 ones. The temperature conditions are almost the same as last year, but 2013 we have steady north winds in Jerez with gusts up to 50km/h which is quite the dramatic change from last year's south winds, so I don't think we can compare times at all this year.

Different compounds for this year are important factor too. Williams is (or was) running 2012 spec car, theoretically if we could know how much they improved over 2012, we could have the reference needed to compare track condition + new tires.
Perez Hamilton Kimi and Vettel all on the track today! Hoping for some nice runs from them all.
The Ferrari has stopped between turns seven and eight. The smoke seemed to be coming from the rear of the car, which could be engine related, although too early to be sure. Not the start he would have expected to his Ferrari career for Pedro Dela Rosa.
1. Sergio Perez, 1:19.696, 10 laps; 2. Lewis Hamilton, 1:19.733, 17 laps; 3. Kimi Raikkonen, 1:19.794, 10 laps, 4. Esteban Gutierrez, 1:19.996 26 laps; 5. Sebastian Vettel, 1:20.155, 14 laps; 6. Pedro de la Rosa, No time, 2 laps.
.Esteban Gutierrez who's stalled in the middle of the track. Red flag is back out again. The Sauber may have just conked out actually looking at the screens now, it's stranded between turns 11 and 12
1. Sebastian Vettel, 1:18.789, 24 laps; 2. Kimi Raikkonen, 1:19.157, 15 laps; 3. Jean-Eric Vergne, 1:19.361, 17 laps; 4. Lewis Hamilton, 1:19.576, 27 laps; 5. Sergio Perez, 1:19.696, 16 laps; 6. Pedro de la Rosa, No time, 2 laps.
First lap back out of the pits and Sergio Perez improves to third with a time of 1:19.198 with what seemed to be the hard tyres. Sergio arrives at the party!!!
I am super excited for this season. Alonso really needs to have a damn good car this year and not get the total shaft and he might be destroying people this year. I have really liked vettel ever since his test days where he took over for the injured driver. I also have to root for lewis because I was on his band wagon when he first came to the circuit. I am also glad that kimi came back last year to race f1 because he couldn't do shit in a rally car. Just looking at the lineups it feels like there is some serious driving potential in the field.

It's because of Infiniti. Purple makes them go fast.

xD that work on the same basis as "go faster stripes" on cars/bikes? xD

You know, if Kimi had not gone for a tour of Sao Paulo in the final race he would have completed every lap of every race last year. A very difficult thing to achieve.
