But also Mark needs to stop crying so much and accept that he's a number 2 driver.

I know about the tires of course, but it still bothers me. At least they could have taken Pirellis suggestion to get an extra set for quali. Imagine how the race would be today in the dry.. at least 3 sets (probably 4) for quali (prime, option, option), then 5 sets for race with only two new primes left.. that would have been a mess.

Yh adding a couple of sets could help, probably something to look at for 2014.

Presumably he was instructed to go into some kind of car-saving mode and Vettel disobeyed the team and passed him. On german TV they found out it means "2 stays ahead of 1", with the starting numbers of Vettel (1) and Webber (2) in mind. That's not possible anymore, otherwise Vettel wouldn't have won. Systems to control car-systems from the pit were banned years ago, the driver has to make the change. RBR let both drivers race until the last pitstop, then they should stay in position. Both were told to hold position, save tiers and engine. Webber adjusted his settings, Vettel ignored it and went for the win. But "apologies" were pathetic. Why just don't say "I wanted that win so I went for it" instead of something like he first said on the podium with mistake and he did get the message but didn't ignore it (WTF?). Hamilton was straight forward and I give him credit for that. I'm sorry for Nico, he should have been there and Lewis acknoledged that. Great was also the words after the race between Lauda and Toto Wolf, Lauda clearly said is was wrong in the spirit of the sport and competition while Wolf tried to defend it as much as possible, while admitting that is was wrong. And I guess Alonso is pretty happy that he isn't the focus of attention after the embarassing decision to not change the front wing. But he payed for that. And he can't say he was out and it was not his fault.

Red Bull team basically turned down Webber's car and told him and Vettel to cruise home to win. Then Vettel says fuck it and overtakes. The competitor in me sees no problem with it, but they turned down Webber's car and Vettel took advantage against team orders to overtake (almost caused an accident too). Hardly a fair race. Massive, massive dick move.

I'm referring to multiple fastest laps at the end of races after his team told him to slow down.

The team should have definitely made that call, not him.

Vettel showed that he's still fairly immature when it comes to putting the team first and Webber showed what a great driver he is capable of being. Shame for Alonso to go out at the start, bit of a silly gamble for Ferrari but even if he had pitted I'm not sure he would have scored any points. Rosberg really showed how valuable a driver he is today. Him and Lewis both had great races had a little battle and then brought it home for a result I certainly didn't ever expect them to be capable of at the 2nd race. China should be pretty epic in a few weeks time, Rosberg was epic there a year ago and Hammy is pretty handy there too... should be exciting!
