LA won because they had dudes like richards, carter, justin willians and penner playing in support roles at times. all of those dudes have their knocks, but theyre all top six or former 40 goal scoreres playing secondary roles. quick was out of his mind, but la also had absurd depth and richard and carter were absolutely huge. la effectively played first liners on the third at times. i do not care for that trade at all for boston. I love loui eriksson, and he might be the most underrated all around player in the league, but seguin is what, 21?? and is more or less as much of an offensive threat, and he does that playing less minutes. the only reason seguin didnt get first line minutes all the time is because bergeron and krejci are ahead of him at center, so he had to play wing to get up there. this at least gets boston a natural top 6 winger, rather than playing a center out of position. i just think seguin's ceiling is way higher. the only possible reason i could see this going down is because of his hip things, like flaccid mentioned. his partying is a lot better excuse to trade him than hes got the hips of a 35 year old. i am amazed horcoff got a return with that deal. i agree with flaccid, stil la very useful if overpaid player | ||
