Clean: 5x135, 4x155, 3x165, 2x165, 1x175 Bodyweight Pull Ups: x9, x5, x4, x3 Incline Dumbbell Bench Press: 12x45, 10x55, 8x55 Dumbbell Step Ups: 10x35, 10x40, 10x45 Sitting Bicep Curl: 10x35, 10x35, 10x35 Did bodyweight ab stuff and weighted sprints. Was really dissapointed with my cleans. I can get so much more with my legs, but I just couldn't get my arms under it quick enough. Might be because I did upright rows yesterday. Any tips for working on that part of the lift? Also, my pull ups are coming along. Still making slow progress. Still, I am really dissapointed with my cleans ![]()

A lot of squatting is technique and the mental side of it. My squat was about 50kg behind my deadlift at one point but then caught up to 30kg~. I think it's just because the deadlift is a "simpler" lift. I hit a stall at 90kg, then broke it and worked up to 100kg no problem. Stalled there, broke up to 105kg which is where I am now. On the other hand, I didn't stall on deads for a long time. Your bench looks fine too. I find that perception of bench weights is a bit skewed as almost everyone in the gym does bench, so expectations are higher than they probably should be. The guys that have 90kg bench and 100kg squats aren't doing the same program as you. They've been doing upper body excercises for a lot longer than you have and that's their focus. Hence the higher relative bench. Don't be discouraged by it, stick with the lifts and they'll "balance out".

WTF http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwXPklkR8ws Lol I love the constant screaming and the way he just ditches the bar and starts shaking the stand hahaha. Also the superman pushups looks like a natural progression from a full ab wheel. Not that it isn't extremely impressive!

Deadlift (80%): 3x3 @ 300 lbs Speed deadlift (65%): 3x3 @ 245 lbs (120 sec rest b/w sets) Power shrugs (60% of current): 3x5 @ 205 lbs Stiff-leg deadlift: 3x5x205 Bent over row: 3x5x165 Chin ups: 3x5 Hyperextensions: 3x5x55 If Week 4 was a 9/10 or 10/10 in terms of difficulty, Week 5 would be a 2-3 /10. Chin-up 52.5lb 3x5 rawr Kroc rows 85lb 2x5 GBSS 50lb 3x10 each. I'm really liking these. Going to stick with them and see how it translates to squat after I get up to a respectable weight.

Very good session. After the first set of Chin Ups, my arms were dead. Nice that I can still rep out 10 though (after heavy Deadlifts as well).

I am going light next week trying to get my reps in. 10-8-6 for my main lifts to be exact. Just hope I don't become a curlbro, but I haven't been able to do them for the past 6 months so I have been getting a lot in lately ![]()
