wanted to comment on the new system LINK
the risk/reward is too far skewed towards not using LINK at all. think you will have to adjust the numbers to make it a reasonable choice.

current system reward of 2wins linked vs not = +2
current system risk for 1 win linked vs not = -3
current system risk of 2 losses linked vs not = -4

the net numbers just dont really add up. no matter the confidence level of the picks in an unpredictable sport the risk vs not using it is far too great. i know you like to put a little extra on the risk side, i understand that i just think its too much.

some link options i came up with - game is fine, number are just off imo
options in order of '2 wins/1win/2losses'
A: +4 / 0 / -4
B: +4 / -1 / -4
C: +5 / -2 / -4
D: +4 / -2 / -3

as it stands now i dont think ill ever use current version of link. B,C,D would take a large amount of thought even with confident picks as the risk is fairly high and i would often skip out on using link. i would prefer A, it takes high level of confidence as there is risk involved but its reasonable enough to use most weeks. Even if it were A i might still skip using it and thats kind of the awesome part about the bonuses: thought.
A LINK vs no LINK: +2 for both wins, -1 for 1 win, -4 for 2 losses

anyways obviously it's your game run it how you want, im not complaining one bit of course. i just liked the idea of LINK so i wanted to get it tweeked a bit so i might use it.

maybe others have input as well?

I agree it's more skewed toward punishment than gain, it was the same with boost, which was why I tried to use both sparingly, but my thought process in making them was that they would be used wisely, and not spammed. Which is funny, because when I gave unlimited boosts last season people spammed them on every pick and often ended up with negative scores for the card. I can try some of those other link options, I like C right now.
