Will be interesting to see if they survive in the PL now. Hey, we're battling against relegation and if you don't get a result against a team that has dropped only 13 points so far this season, you'll be gone! -_-.

The point, since you weren't paying attention, is that Bayern doesn't = the German team. Combined with Dortmund players, they still only make up about half the national team, and the team in and of itself is one of the most diverse in the Bundesliga (in terms of nationality). Robben is a diver and crybaby but pls dont compare people that complain WHEN they are hit to deliberate divers all across spain, portugal and the premier league. I don't know what has happened in Serie A in the last 5 years and Bundesliga in the last 2-3 years but there is such a massive difference in trying to fool the ref compared to the rest of europe that it hurts to see people complain about teams like Bayern being whiners and such... You can hate on Bayern for a shitload of reasons but this is just objectively wrong and disrespectful towards an anti diving attitude that is very visual when you compare football all over europe.. Yes, Germany is damn good at reducing diving. Part of the reason I love German soccer. That said, why not talk about complainers as well as people who dive when they aren't hit? Just because the latter is worse, doesn't mean the former isn't bad. Embellishing injuries just leads to more diving, so it needs to be stamped out as well. No team is perfect, as embellishing injuries is so incredibly ingrained in soccer culture, but Bayern is definitely the worst in the Bundesliga. It's not like you can just say, "Oh, Spanish players are worse, so Bayern's fine!" No, Bayern still whines a lot for German soccer standards, so we get to call them on it. Besides, it's not like that's my only reason for hating them. Just one of several.

![]() In other news, the Stuttgart-Dortmund game was a fucking brawl. Schmelzer got kicked in the first half and had to sub out immediately (broken nose and cut). 3 yellows for VfB, 2 for BVB. 1 red for VfB in the 70th minute. 4 other Dortmund players were injured in some way, and two are questionable for the game against Malaga on Wednesday. Anyone tries to tell me that soccer isn't a contact sport should take a kick to the face like Schmelzer did.

At all. You could watch five minutes of any game ever and see that it's a contact sport. Well for starters calling it soccer is the greater transgression. Secondly while it may have changed recently, atleast in my experience during college it was considered a sport for pussies. The culture leans more toward casual coed.

Well, Harnik breaking Schmelzer's nose was an accident as they happen in football and I would not blame Stuttgart for that, but let's say Niedermeier seemed a bit over-motivated at times ;-)

Oh, and Neuer's turned into a total brat since he left Schalke. To be fair, I'm a hater. But still, this team can just buy their way to trophies. Takes a lot away from them. youre a chelsea fan arent you?thats the quote of the century.

Well, I know people hate it because of diving, but I just find that funny since basketball and hockey are so popular in America. Never heard anyone say it's not a contact sport though.
