Don't stand up completely (lockout) for a squat. Instead, you want to keep your knees bent so you don't hyper extend your hamstrings. Told the guy thanks for the advice and I'll keep it in mind, though. Wasn't an ass about it.

You don't have to "lockout" per se, but you do have to stand up straight as you normally do.

Heard of plenty of people hyper extend their hamstrings when they got up from the couch, right? I don't even know how you could do that squatting to be honest lol. Maybe deadlifting with a extreme lockout lay back.

Right after the sets and for the rest of the day it became really sore. Seeing that there's not that many ways to put the bar on your traps I think I'm just gonna see how front squats feel and stick to those if they're ok, as long as my wrist is cool with them.

still makes me, felt sooooo great, holy crap :D And I have a workout partner for University gym Also didn't lose too much strength while I was off of lifting, only 10 lbs with OHP (considering I had a shoulder injury and couldn't really do any upper body for the last month I thought I'd have lost more here)

Just need to experiment and figure out a sustainable routine. Regarding my previous post, front squats feel a lot better than back squats.

My injury wasn't too bad at least, sorry bro, hope you figure out stuff you can do I picked up running in my downtime and actually found I really enjoy it, so don't forget to look outside of lifting :D:D:D:D::D (also I feel machines are actually pretty good during injuries IMO)

Press on.Yeah I made the mistake of trying to do it in a sports top, went straight back to wearing cotton and putting up with leaving looking like I fell in the pool. To be honest the least hassle I've ever had was when I did it topless, but not possible in my Uni gym, kinda BM.

Food for thought, don't just rise your body close to the legs as possible. Try to press the lower back close to the ground as possible and then use as much muscles to pull yourself. And most importantly, don't try to use your necks. I've learned it to hard way where I woke up in the morning in grave pain.

Heavy barbell lifting is the best... squat and deadlifts. Along with that other good stuff is L-sits, hanging leg raises, RKC planks, and ab wheel.
