Thanks for all the support guys. Really appreciate it!!!!

I'll definitely give this a go next time. Let you know how I go with it!

Haha I mainly eat chicken. I still have to try kangaroo meat though. Everyone says its really nice if you cook it right...
Where are your lifts at? What program are you following?

just something i learnt recently, reminded me when i watched your bench vid and you make a groan as you tried to come back up i think
a guy helped me get my breathing right on bench, and it makes sooooooooooooooooo freakin much difference. you need to exhale on the push, when you are coming back up, and inhale as you go down.
guys if you havent got your breathing in the right places etc you should do that asap, it is awesome! well for squat and bench at least, i havent learnt how to do it on the others yet
Thanks for the suggestion. Although I do the same a Phyre and exhale at my sticking point. I find that it works well for me. You're very right about breathing being important and a lot of people over look that. I'll give your way a go next time though.

Thanks man,
I had no real experience lifting weights before starting 9 months ago. I did kickboxing for a while but I don't think that really added much to my strength because when I started my lifts were -
Mad jelly. Still got about five months to go before I can be measured up to you, though
A funny story though; neck was aching all day. So I have this apointment with a guy to show him Starting Strength and how I train, can't bail on that. Neck is huuurting though. Meh whatever I say, I'll do the rowing machine with him and then show him squats. After rowing, neck hurts way less.
Hmm I say, let's try some squats. I keep adding weight, go 'fuck it', load up workset and slam those ATG squats out no problem. 'Cool dawg, but benching is pushing it' I think to myself. Warm-up set anyway, another heavier warm-set, another 'fuck it' moment, do my worksets as planned like a boss.
'But DAAAAAAWG. Deadlifts are suicide, don't be stupid.' I think to myself. So I show him technique, get frustrated by the pathetic 50kg that mocks me, lift that, the story repeats itself, so I end up doing my worksets.
Heavy lifting unfucks those things that fucked themselves up. True story.
The guy I brought to the gym loved Starting Strength by the way, so the TLHF priests have OLOLOL'd one more person.
@Jupiter - Doing the SL 5x5 program and I'm going to be posting my 3rd month progress in exactly 3 days! So stay tune but ofc it's nowhere as beastly as yours. I wish stores here sold kangaroo meat.
So I bought some dog-head slippers a few days ago and instantly fell in love. It's as if they're my real pet dogs, I'm always with them for the majority of the day and my feet feel heavenly and warm. Opinions on wearing them on workout days and squatting/deadlifting with them?
Today is the regular deadlifting day so two guys were going at it and one of them, Terry, nailed a good pr of 210kg and almost passes out with the effort. Then they start doing deadlifts from a block and when Terry didn't get even one rep with 150kg the other, more experienced lifter started yelling at him in a very broken English (since Terry doesn't speak Icelandic), starting with the golden line: "You fucking cunt!" and goes on for about 3 more minutes.
Next try Terry pulls 150kg x 6 like a breeze lol.
And then I squatted 190kg and front squatted 120kg.

Had to restrain from murdering the crossfitter trying to tell me about the second pull in a snatch when i'm repping out 100 and he's barely cleaning his bw T_T Squatted for the third time this week (its been way too long)! did 3x3 @ 325, snatched up to 105 (missed 110 a few times, i dont know how, was sitting in the hole with it for like 5 seconds and just couldnt keep it in the slot) and then finished up with push press up to 100kg.
I have no idea how can you people gain strength so fast. Adding weight every practice for 5+ months? I can barely do it for 3-4 weeks and I am already feeling like my muscles will explode when lifting. Can't be lack of eating because I consume 180-260g of protein every day (1-1.5kg of meat) and vegetables. Only non paleo thing I eat is sour cream. I drink 2-2.5l of water every day so that should be fine aswell.
Here are 2 pics from my after training meal: http://imgur.com/a/BMZaK (600g of chicken, ~250-300g of tomatoes, ~200g of cucumber, 1 onion and 100g+ sour cream.) Took 30minutes to eat it but I have been living like this for over a month and for my bw ( ~90-100 kg something) I am having troubles increasing weights (squat ~70kg+ 5x5, bench 55kg+ 5x5 etc.). How the hell did Jupiter and malinor increase weight every training for more than half a year? Oh and I sleep 8-10hours every night so it can't be that either. Poop muscles or is there something I can still change? My normal meal contains 300-400g meat, when it's not gym day then I eat my biggest meal ( ~500g of pork or chicken ) in the morning, on gym day I eat that 600g meat meal after training. Carbs on gym day, fat on rest day.
So today I drove to the gym and I had forgotten my belt -_-. Had to drive back home and to the gym again. First drive 25 mins, following drives 15 min (feel like the transporter oo).
Was kinda tired after almost an hour of driving, but I was there to pull a PR multiple times. And I did. Taped 2 of my 3 deadlifts, enjoy.
Nice work GoTunk!, you made those lifts look easy, and how small is your gym? why would someone insist on doing pushups 2 inches away from your bar........

GOMAD. For extra calories. Strict Paleo is pretty shit for gaining weight.

Its not small, but it is a uni gym so its always full. He did it out of retardedness though lol.
@GoTunk. Not gonna lie, I always think of trunks when I see your name. And after seeing your deadlift video at ~0:23, I've decided it. You will now be known as trunks forevermore. Nice lifts man. --- Anyway, like I said on fitocracy, I'd explain what the fuck happened to my deadlift.
Basically it has been shit form these past couple of weeks (ever since I started 5/3/1). I didn't know what the difference was, but I felt like I lost ~70 pounds on that lift alone. My back would round somewhat no matter what the weight. It was bullshit after pulling 3 plates. Today the same thing happened; I failed at 230 because I could feel my back rounding so I just dropped it. Immensely pissed at myself, I said fuck it and decided to start remedial deadlift form right there. Stripped it to one plate and worked on my form.
First set was shitty. I got five before I just said fuck it. I knew at higher weight what I was doing was failing, so I switched it up. I went back to a slightly wider stance than I have been using. Probably about half a year ago I was told I should bring my stance in. It isn't nearly as wide as before. But fuck that close stance stuff, I can't keep my back straight when I do that. The weight then felt light, easy, and I pulled it so fast people would do a double take and see me in the same spot.
Glorious.
So then, after doing 4 sets of 135 and really fixing my form, I went back up to two plates. I did four straight reps relatively easy. I dominated that shit. Then I realized I should go back and do one more. So I fucking did.
Took it easy on the back today. Did some light squats at 105 between my OHP sets but not sure if it's helping or not. Went for some PRs for pistol squats since I hadn't done them since I started training SL. Smashed my old PR of 70 and did 110 easy. Going to smash 110 next time :D Didn't find a machine to do reverse back hyperextensions though

How much are you adding to your lifts each session? Maybe you're trying to progress too fast.

No, I do it with a pair of dumbbells for balance. I agree barbell sounds really hard since I go ATG lol
