Yeah, UCSF is a brilliant med school.
but this is her on any matter.
"Experts say x" "But I learned at UCSF in 1980 that y is true"

Mom is highly educated pharmacist aka too good for that >.>
If she's highly educated she should listen to evidence like studies.
I'll try. Although she's been known to discredit things that upset what she learned in 1980. At UCSF lol.
I would suggest scraping together some money and just buying the milk. If you need some money take on a pt time job maybe? You're 17 so either a jr or sr in HS right? If your mom argues with you getting a job be like, "MOM SUP SUMMER JOB, BUILD MY RESUME N SHIZ, MAKING SCRILLA. BET THEY DIDN'T TEACH YOU THAT AT UCSF BACK IN 1980".
Anyways... Current lifts (most recent #'s aka what I just did): Squats: 5x5x175 (cleared the form issues up I think) Bench: 5x5x140 Press: 5x5x85 DL: 1x5x245 (I'll be stoked when I clear 300) BB Rows: 3x5x95, 2x5x115 (just started, my technique's weak on them).

nemY what's your height/weight like? You and I have similar stats (assuming those are pounds there and not kilograms) except I'm only 3x5 instead of 5x5.

If i had seen that going on when i was as young as those kids i would have hopped on the oly lifting train asap. My buddy is actually training a 12 year old that saw him working out at the gym lol.
dimsum have you hit 120 before? if so thats fucking insane. and i dont get the whole knee down thing miss rofl. what weight is the other kid that lifts with you? looked like he hit 110-120 and squatting 160+?

I have the money. She is barring me from buying it though.
show her this:
It might not change anything but i saw it and thought of this thread <3
Totally just realized i'm buying a gallon of whole milk a day and smashing it at work all summer :D
Nice vid dimsum, i really need to work on my speed. wish i had blocks to work off of. I think i depend too much on my first pull which lets me get away with sub par speed on my second pull.

My gym membership at Konami Sports Club ends at the end of May. I'm going to get the information on that gymnasium by then and go to check it out. You know, if I knew it weren't a waste of time, I would file an explicit complaint about the guy. But, I've moved on because I know that I have more important things to do with my time and he means absolutely nothing to me.
gg no re.
Also, I worked up to 95% max on my clean today, and did 70kg, 75kg, 80kg, and 85kg as my last lift. 80kg and 85kg were dirty as hell, but up to 75kg was really good, according to the Olympic lifting guy. Also did:
FSquat: 90kgx3x3 Row: 60kgx3x5 Snatch form practice Stretch/Mobility work
After about 6 months of SS, starting from October 2009 (December and March were not very productive, if I recall correctly. Also, February was pure cardio, 30mins-45mins of running almost every day.) I believe I was about 145lbs, 14-15% BF Lean diet.
To the best of my memory, my numbers were: Squat -192lbs Deadlift - 220lbs Bench - 143lbs M.Press - 82.5lbs
Complete lethargy for 7 months, then 2 months of modified SS schedule. I weigh about 170lbs, 17-18% BF Diet: about 4000kcals per day - high protein high fat
