Haha, I already did the half GOMAD thing last year. Got up to 135kg squat, got sick six times, lost my gains ;_;.
Now I'm trying to cut to 8% before I bulk again. It's a slow cut where I'm building muscle in the process VIA leangains, but my diet needs to be pretty precise for it to work well.

I've got 6 cm on you, and we weigh the same. I'm probably aiming to add 7-8kg by the end of summer, but I've been at the SS thing for quite a while now (10 months? took december and march off though). Long term, like 2-3 years from now I'm looking to add maybe 20kg to what I weigh now, but we'll see how that goes, and how well my knee holds up. The guys who said don't worry about numbers are right though... This is just me estimating based on how the weight that I HAVE put on has distributed, how it appears on me. I like the way I'm going, I feel like I can be happy with another 7-8 kg.
Speaking of my knee, it's been feeling a LOT better since I've started deadlifting again. Still haven't gotten to do squats yet, and I'm only deadlifting light, but DAMN does it feel good to do.
So Tuesday, I quit my terrible work study job that has my up until 3 am multiple nights a week. Friends decided they wanted to party at their apartment, and for once I could go - so I did. Wednesday was a very good friend's birthday, and we all went out drinking. And that was cool. I got up Wednesday morning, before that and lifted like a good little TL H&F'er, and felt great. The sun has been shining most of the week, I've been working hard, I needed to blow off the steam. Thursday I ACED my fourth O-chem test, and a couple of my friends had a concert that night, so those things had to be celebrated. Friday was "mayfest" - My university's spring celebration day drinking extravaganza, culminating in a concert at the dome (nas & Damian Marley; kid Cudi). Today is just a beautiful day right before finals week, so I've got another party to head to where I'll be going from about 3 pm - 3 am... But despite my week, I'm bright eyed and ready to go to the gym. I feel like I am decaf. Time to get pumped, time to lift some heavy shit.

We're like the most anti-cardio group ever
Last year I used to run outside like every sunny day, but only for like two miles or so, and definitely not an impressive pace. Unfortunately I don't think I'll have the time this year.
Gonna be hitting restaraunts with the family a bit in the upcoming week, anyone got any good italian and mexican paleo dishes for me to order?

Today: (PR) Squats: 275lbs - 3x5. (last week was 4-3-3) Widened grip and shoulder mobility work throughout the week helped tremendously. Crushed it ez. M.Press - 105lbs - 5-4-3. Hitting a wall (PR) Deadlift - 315lbs(+10) - 2-1-1-1 I was yelling fairly loud... lol (PR) BW Pullups - 8-7-5 (PR) BW Dips - 4-4
Decided to add in more auxiliary work that will help me break through the 105 lb barrier for Military Press. Will also do Push Presses on Thursday.
Overall, massive success
YES HAJI. Breakin PRs left and right...and 3 plates on the deadlift!

I managed 2 laps of sprints the other day before giving up lol. I used to jog a few miles a day a few years ago but now i pretty much just lift and sprint. Good luck though, i can't even imagine putting myself through a marathon!

Wanted to deadlift cause i've got finals coming and the end of the semester but that will probably put me out of action for too long with a meet coming up. Seeing kid cudi live was AWESOME when he came to my school last year, day long extravaganza combined with that sounds pretty sweet. And your almost at my level...i've been going strong almost every night since last monday(11 out of 12 nights). Thank god i'm finally taking some time off
@dimsum, anything i should be doing for a meet in 3 weeks?

Drank 8 glasses of milk this morning and ate a pound of meatballs. The rest of my diet today will be beer, chicken wings, chips and puke. It's UFC 129 in Toronto baby. Yayers.
@Rosa: Maybe you can lift at like 70% or whatever. I personally don't have a great track record for not injurying myself when I'm sleep deprived but I know some people can totally pull it off.
KCrazy Age: 21 || Height: 5'11" || Weight: 198 lbs Starting Date: April 23, 2011 || Goal Date: June 1, 2011 Weight goals -- started at 200, going to 190 Training goals -- HIIT 3 times a week Nutrition goals -- started recording my diet on w.e site in OP
Have a question, am I supposed to feel like I'm going to die after I do HIIT or am I pushing it too much? I've been doing minute sprint/ minute jog intervals for about 4-6 reps with 5 minute warm-up/ cool downs. I know nothing about fitness really so I'm probably doing it wrong
Aiming to hit a PR in squat by going for a full three sets of 195lbs. I cleared 3x5@185lbs last week with proper form and without busting a nut on the last reps, so I think it's time to try and hit a new personal record.
Also have bench press lined up (second session since first reset, going for 125lbs this time around. Should be quite easy) and weighted pull-ups after that.
Someone mentioned Lactaid as a milk replacement; ended up buying a half gallon and will try it out for my meals today.
