Sounds like it could be a torn pec... if it's still really painful tomorrow I'd have it checked out. Ice is always a good idea.

If this is the case, how long does it take to heal? I'm not really feeling that much pain anymore.. do you think I'll be good in a week? I'm not sure about going to the doctor.... if my mom finds out I'm injured she'll never let me work out again =(

If you're actually injured and don't treat it the right way, you might not be able to workout as well ever again regardless.
General idea to go with on these situations are to be careful. Take time off from lifting, RICE (rest, ice, compression, elevation) and see if there's any improvement. If there's not, a doctors visit is probably necessary. I don't know much about shoulders, all my past injuries being knee related, but I do know they take quite a long time to heal, and if you've been pressing with poor form it's pretty likely there's something serious going on here.
Missed the gym today myself, as well as all my classes. I had some soreness in my lower back muscles, and decided to roll them out before bed. Seems like I knocked something loose while doing so - woke up two hours later with some very specific pains I haven't felt since I had kidney stones eleven years ago (lol pediatric kidney stones. Fucking HURT) so I spent the day dealing with that. Seems to have passed now, and I'll just work out wednesday/friday/sunday instead of tues/thurs/sat.

If the pain is receding already it's probably not major... but still do some ricing as stated

See a orthopedic doc if possible (especially if pain doesn't improve in a week).
You'd have to provide waaay more info if I was to even make a guess of what it was.

Going to see if i can top my 140 CJ tomorrow and then my max my deadlift on thurs and then its time for 9 days of partying! Hopefully i come back nice and refreshed (and probably weaker) but hopefully my shoulders will be ready for more snatching by then.

Finally started SS after months of fooling around doing nothing useful in the gym. I realized I was weak as hell when I did squats. (never even tried before) My final sets (after warm ups) were :
Squat 3x5 115lbs Deadlift 3x5 130lbs Bench Press 3x5 130lbs Chin Ups 3 x To failure
I'll try to post my progress here, I was sore for 3 days straight in my legs after this workout lol, going back tomorrow, and i'll try the power cleans for the first time too!

The 'ripping' noise doesn't sound very good. I'd see a doctor (or at least a physio) based on that alone... Sounds like you might have torn something in your pec/shoulder.

Have a problem, I need to be able to run like 12km on Saturday through a hiking track. Fitness wise I'm fine. But I have an issue with my lowerback, I can squat and deadlift fine, wake up the next morning and no problems. I do sprints and I'm fine. As soon as I start a steady pace of running my lowerback starts to feel pressure, 10-15minutes into it it will lead into pain, and eventually excruciating pain similar to how you'd feel if you just fucked up a squat with really heavy weights.
I never used to have this problem, what can be causing it? Some of my friends are saying my hamstrings are too tight, hamstrings are too weak? My glutes are too strong? Glutes are too weak? All sorts of conspiracy theories.

It happens.
There are three possible weaknesses with lifting: physical, mental, and technical. Technical errors are by far the most common, especially in novice lifters; your body is capable of more weight, but your technique at early levels prevents that from happening. Also, psychological weaknesses vary from person to person, but they can be debilitating as well. My squat is weak, so I have low confidence on my squat; that is yet another contributor to my embarrassing squat numbers.
What I'm saying here is that the problem was likely technical in nature. If your form was bad on your first set, decent on your second set, and good on your third set, that may be it.

doesn't lower back pain when running for prolonged periods usually have something to do with improper form (like going heel-toe)? that's all i can remember eshlow mentioning when i brought up the same topic a thread back.
just realized my dip form sucks balls. my left shoulder, for whatever reason always seems to roll forward when i lower myself, which in turn makes my right side to much more than it should. actually, i've noticed that i need to pull my left shoulder back constantly because it always seems to go back to that forward position without me even knowing T_T
took off 40lbs from my rack pulls due to form issues. the weight got so heavy for me that i couldn't tell if my mid section was tight or not. better be safe than have a fucked up lower back.

after that, I felt so weak that I didnt increase bench and power clean and just did the same weight as last time :/

yeah it hurts more the day after. Just get it checked out, you will be fine tbh i dont think the school nurse is going to be qualified.

Played my first game of ultimate frisbee for the season, was great. I had soooooo much energy, I just couldn't get tired I dunno wtf was going on. Changed my lifting schedule to thur/sat/mon cos I can't work out tuesday night or wednesday night. Deloading squat tomorrow, can't wait!
