I'm sure you're right, but I've always done pullups because I like pullups . I deadlift for strength.

Isn't homeopathy that quack stuff where they dilute some ingredient to the point that there's almost nothing left?

Yep, pretty much.
Donated blood for the first time today. Feels good man.

Homeopathic stuff is like scientifically proven not to work...
Plus I'm wary of sites that don't let me see the product information/ingredients
But generally if it works for you I would say use it I guess. Placebo effect is pretty powerful honestly

Hypo Half Marathon
Got my first race in this year, didn't go very well, but there was heaps of snow the entire race. My pace dipped part way through the race because I stopped to walk to see if I could get my heart rate back down. I usually run a 5:30 min/km pace with my hear rate floating around 155 bpm, but with the cold and the deep snow I couldn't keep it below 170.
Recorded the race on my garmin watch.

Wasn't there a study that showed that the placebo effect still worked when the subjects *knew* it was a placebo? I need to see if I can find that...

Mmmmm.... I guess the best way to de-stress is... buying new silk sheets/pillows/cleaning comforters so everything is nice and comfortable, having a day off..., and then having your girlfriend slip into your apartment at the crack of dawn to sleep next to you, after having not seen her for more than a month >_<. (It took me a while to realize she wasn't a dream -_-
I will lift well tomorrow. ^^;;

:D Glad to hear it1
It was nice because as I slept, I kept dreaming of her coming into my apartment, and also waking up at the sound of footsteps in my building and outside my window all night. But of course, when she actually came in, she slipped in so quietly that I didn't even wake up >_<.
Tomorrow should be the first time I squat 100 kg ^^;

Being the first March today in Denmark, I have now been doing GOMAD along with SS for about 2 months straight. I've gained some weight and muscle and improved my lifts a bit. If I have hit the place where I want to be in terms of weight (80 kg, 180 centimeters), should i be continuing the GOMAD trend?
|
lol that was awesome
huh the owner of ristos brother goes to my uni. :D

As Zafrumi says, depends on your goals, but note that it's usually considered much easier to bulk like mad and then cut as opposed to trying to gain lean muscle and no fat. This is of course assuming that you still want to gain some muscle mass :O
Go homo on us, put up some pics and what you want to look like and you'll get some better advice.

My body is weird.. Was going 65 kg bench. First set I managed only 3 reps, second set I did 4 reps and last set I did a full set with 5 reps. O.o
Anyone got some advice on something nice and cheap to eat before going to bed?

Maybe you're taking too much rest between sets or something? And did you warm up?

Today I was bench pressing and dumbbell incline pressing, on my last rep of the first set of inclines my left arm went straight up like this | to sideways going like this / - so it went from straight | to this / to this _ , it basically fell sideways, and I hear a rip and it hurt like fucccckkkkkkk and it still does. I really hope I'm not injured... please someone reply asap
