There's still some skill to PvE but it's something you should be easily able to do (almost) perfectly in a few tries. I figured but I've been so lazy since I quite playing LoL seriously that I need to overcome my own bad habits at this point.

We'll see how it measures up. I definitely draft way better when I'm not stream btw, and I don't think it's a fluke. almost went 3-0 today but the final match I had to mull a whole bunch, otherwise I think I could have taken it all.

The star wars nerd in me disagrees. More importantly, you can say anything at e3 and get applause. It's a meme at this point. More importantly Star wars CCG but no EU characters in sight because EA hates fun.

Blizzard cracked the secret that WotC should have figured out years ago which is that you can let people play limited for next to nothing in a digital game because you can just make the cards disappear when the draft is over, and thereby remove the cost of packs from the price of admission. Even if you don't make the game outright free-to-play, that alone adds a lot of appeal to the game for players who wouldn't otherwise play. In fact, WotC still had a chance to make that happen because Hearthstone's limited format is awful compared to drafting in MtG. Like, Wave, I'm sure you'd draft way more often if the price of entry was just the entry ticket and not the packs used in the draft, right? Even if you didn't get to keep your deck afterward.

I think in my case it hinges on the ability to continuously play. The price of DTK cards generally has gone down so much unless I open something massive I won't be able to sell anything to keep it up so I am disappointed by that with no other way to play aside from paying. When the set first came out a lot more cards were valuable so I was able to keep up drafting even if I lost a little (and I'm still not good/confident enough to enter 8-4s, where you can ACTUALLY sustainably draft infinitely). At least in HS though their limited format is shitty, I can just be patient and wait a couple days until I complete a couple quests then I can arena again. Edit: And Asmo, there are a few things holding me back from streaming MTGO often. Onem interest level amongst all the games I play is probably lowest and has the highest barrier to entry, second it is the most disrupted (due to ingame timer) if my son decides not to sleep, and third, moneys.
