Dude, that combo ending in j.FP/ D. Aerial spike got me so hype, even if I don't touch Smash.
I think he looks AMAZING in this game.
Holy shit. This is brilliant design and its a shame he's the only character with it.
I watched it and thought "why can't all the characters have combos like that." Although I guess we don't know what are true combos just yet.

Just go play SA for Rin then (and suffer 'cause it's hard—actually I haven't played any of the 12+ games save for Soku... nor beaten any of the non-fighters at all—Yango! That's 11 games or 12 games to add to my backlog I think).
I originally chose her because rabbit ears+lazors but now I love her because of how salty kdog is whenever I wreck him with a move that renders me invisible for a bit (mostly j.2a and 6a).
That's part of the thing, too: how would you adapt a character who's mostly based on illusions, disorientation, etc. to a fighting game? These effects are a mess if used against a computer (because it'll technically always know which copy if the real Reisen, or where she stands while invisible), and even in PvP are not always easy to use (you have to keep track of where you are yourself when using Ultrared Field for example in SWR).

Well, I mean Hisoutensoku did a pretty good job of adapting a character mostly based on illusions and disorientation to a fighting game ??

Yeah.
TBH though it kind of looks like Ryu will just smash the rest of the Roster. He has kind of... like everything. Strong mobility, strong ranging, strong finishers, fast... He kind of looks to me like a Fox / Falco on Steroids.
Then tell me why the parts most used are her dash and other moves where she turns invisible/"teleports" (explained as turning invisible and letting an illusion hit before reappearing I guess), and all of her moves with illusory bullets, as well as both fields, aren't used at all?

meh
it didn't grab me that much. PvP was decently fun with the attack telegraphs though
I hit 50 on a warrior and did most of the raid attubemebt before work got busy last summer. Its pretty fun pve wise, some of the bosses have really fun mechanics I wish wow still had. PvP felt slow, but the telegraphsade things fun. We will see, I think I'm going to sub for one month just to get the grandfathered "perfered status" stuff.

lmao yes I worry about this all the time
I took a new job recently and work in tech so games come up all the time and so I've mentioned like "yeah I do some news stuff for Liquid`Dota" to people or whatever and then I'm terrified they're gonna look me up and read my posts lol.
Emu actually very kindly removed some blogs I made on TL a while ago about my history with addiction/alcoholism because I decided I probably don't want coworkers or whatever finding them hahahaha (this post is fine it's just "here are the details of my life" was a bit questionable)
thanks emu ur the best
siiiiigh thought you were Dr Beat
all this pic changing
It's getting weird.
Holy shit this house prty is going insane. Flosstardamus, Sub focus, DNB errrywhere, MAJOR LAZER, shit's goin wiiiild.
RIP me
I'M THE REAL CORKI
LOL
I don't know what "I'M THE REAL CORKI" means, but I fucking love it.
And nah I ain't worried about people reading my posts and being like look at this dude! Even if for whatever reason I do run for office, I want the world to see what type of person I was. Even in my younger and internet days.
I mean you say that, but there are enough examples of people getting fired or 'fired'(shamed into resignation) because of shit that goes down online that isn't illegal or anything, just opinionated and maybe a bit on the stupid side, to warrant me not wanting it to happen to myself. I post on forums where drugs and steroids are discussed all the time, I'm sure if someone found out I'd be peeing in a cup monthly for the rest of my life, or maybe even just fired because I throw out opinions that don't align with someone who has power in my office(for example, I don't demonize steroids at all even if I personally choose to not use them, that's a very dangerous public image to have, even if it's actually a popular one).
But then what happens if they stumble on this post? It feels a bit weird to see people post about what they wouldn't post about. Or, because it's a single post buried and you don't dwell on the subjects, on a niche forum, it's differrent from having a discussion on said subject on a bigger forum?
I didn't post what I won't/wouldn't post about, I'm saying I only post about certain things because I'm comfortable with the level of anonymity I maintain on boards like this, because if I wasn't at least mostly anonymous I wouldn't sniff dangerous subjects.

He seems pretty trash, no good OOS options, shield pressure seems sucky. But you can't really tell if he has good grabs/throws. Seems nothing like melee fox/falco.

The whole thing that makes Smash great is you don't have to learn down back up b, it's how you have a limited moveset and how you fluidly adapt to varying displacement.
He is a very anti Smash character, so I'll be disappointed if they make him strong.

I meant the strings he was pulling off, not the button inputs. But like someone said above, they can be air dodged out of anyway.

And DI makes things like that generally obsolete. It's basically just them showing a low mechanics shined blind.

Red, I meant the whole "I'm not against steroids even I don't use them, and that'd easily be held against me" shmuck, if i got it right at least.
I know, that's my point. I can say things like that with absolutely no fear, if my identity were public knowledge I'd be much more careful about what I post.
