I really don't think I want to do that.

![]() Hm, I should prob take Portal 2. How much time is left? Plus I could prob finish it in less than 10 hours so it isn't that big of a commitment.

And yes currently Soniv has the edge on me but not by as much as a few weeks previously. Once I get my controller pieces we'll see if that brings me back up as well.

Yeah, I got pretty far ahead when I finally learned Squigly, but Wave has learned a bunch of new combos and we're both getting a lot better at mix ups. I'm looking forward to playing more again.

Maybe I'll play it, maybe not, either way $5 is basically nothing for a highly recommended game. Would fans like to see it streamed by someone who straight up sucks at TRPGs? Only if you play with Jap audio. That beautiful Inoue soothes my soul :D. I'm pretty bad at TRPGs but had fun when I was playing Valk, reminds me I need to go back and play it. It's pretty intuitive at a decent level unless you want to abuse like Yanger wants to all the time. Lol, the game is basically flawed for solely the reason that mission ranking is based entirely on turn count, so by the end game the best way to finish missions is to bumrush the objective with a small number of godly units (in some cases "a small number" meaning just 1). Does the mission ranking matter at all?

I'm at the Wind Temple in the first Yango, assuming my memory card didn't die in the last 8 years or so, so prob no far from the end. The 2nd's way of saving is super annoying though so I'm not sure I feel like bothering. And my backlog includes : - Tactics Ogre (IEFGHLSYGB it's so harsh), FFT I haven't finished 'cause moving my emulator saves when changing PCs corrupted it, but I was right before the last series of battles and I know the ending so I prob won't bother - Fallout (I think I can finish the first in 6 hours or so if I'm efficient, I'd only play that and 2 anyway) - Baldur's Gate 2 (I don't think I'd bother with the first, I'm really not a fan of the system because of the principle of "encounter -> sleep" which doesn't help immersion, and I suck at knowing the right spells and using them well, which almost the whole game seems to hinge on; I think my game bugged because I had a conversation with Aerie triggered, wondering if it would occur again at the same time (I'd saved right before) and wanted to test the answers, so I loaded, and I haven't gotten it again ever in maybe 10+ ingame days since) - Super Mario RPG (I'm probably at the last dungeon) - Kanako's path in KS - Child of Light (apparently it's super short but I'm taking my time, and boiling to miss one chest from the first zone and I don't know where esurslhe :< ) - Commando (bought all 3 and add-ons via Humble Bundle, I play very slowly whenever I play it so it takes time too) - Vampire Bloodlines (I think that one? RPG, super bugged without some kind of mod) - Planescape: Torment - last but not least, Umineko. I've started re-reading it at the end of episode 4 (they pressure you so hard to do it before they tell you who the culprit is :') ) so I've got a few dozen hours ahead of me before I even start episodes 5-8. And that's only the games I own and that "end". Otherwise I've played stuff like WoT from time to time too. I'm really slow in RPGs because I'm methodical and try to finish quests before I go too far, to keep a clear view, but for each quest completed 5 new ones pop out and I don't touch the main line. :') I also don't play all that much a bunch of them. I probably should, I have trouble playing long sessions without alt-tabbing and stuff though, and games like Vampire and Fallout make it unyieldy.

I should make one of those. Witcher 1 and 2 for pennies seems worth to me. Child of Light seems ok... but I've gotten kinda burnt out on turn based RPGs. Pretty cheap, though.

Pretty cheap, though. I feel like I should pickup VC. Starbound has always been tempting just for a podcast-listening time sink but I'd never play it. I have Witchers 1+2. Heard great stuff about W:NO and TWoM. Also $5 for Rogue Legacy and Risk of Rain, the first of which is excellent and the second of which I really like but is definitely niche. And I think Castle Crashers is $5 or less all week so I should get that to play with some of you chumps. Edit: And jeff you gtfo with that zac icon or we will have words.

Starting at level 8-10 rather than level 1 is super overwhelming. - As far as "knowing the right spells and using them well", BG2 depends much more heavily on this than BG1 because of the complexity of high-level mage fights. Unmodded BG1 you can basically take a party of fighters and A-move the entire game, really. - Conversation timing is semi-random. There's a timer that makes sure that AT LEAST x amount of time has passed between them, but otherwise, there's no real guarantees when they happen. I don't like roguelikes. I have Risk of Rain, but I honestly get bored of games with no "end", or which are short and are supposed to be repeated for the "full experience" like Issac or Rogue Legacy.
