I'm pretty bad at TRPGs but had fun when I was playing Valk, reminds me I need to go back and play it. It's pretty intuitive at a decent level unless you want to abuse like Yanger wants to all the time. | ||

Two bits of beginner advice: 1) Virtually all the good characters you get in the game are girls. There's like 4 guys who are actually useful (and 2 of them are basically required--one is the main character, and the other is a squad commander so you get less actions per turn if you don't use him). 2) Only ever aim for headshots. Location damage is insanely lopsided in this game to the point that aiming for anything other than headshots is flat out not worth it, even if the head is harder to hit. Lol, the game is basically flawed for solely the reason that mission ranking is based entirely on turn count, so by the end game the best way to finish missions is to bumrush the objective with a small number of godly units (in some cases "a small number" meaning just 1). | ||

Maybe I'll finish Child of Light this week-end. And the connection at my parents' doesn't even let me watch LCS in medium. Low or bust. Now that I think about it the stream wasn't in 60fps last time. That'd explain why even medium can't he handled anymore... | ||
