The two key heroes in that lineup that actually threaten Drow are Slardar and Puck, but the nature of the two heroes is such that they BOTH need to be farmed in order to put her at risk. One of them alone isn't enough unless they are "carry the game by myself" level fed. However, the lineup basically required Puck be on the off-lane, and with Enchan jungle + Drow + Dazzle, it's insanely hard for Puck to get anything. Puck off-lane is great in 1v1s and punishes weak 1v2s, but against stronger laners, he really can't do anything. On the flip side, Batrider is just incredibly hard for Slardar + defensive/farm oriented supports to control. They can't kill him without expending more resources than it's worth (and Brax isn't a weak enough player to get caught in a way that makes it easy for them). They can't farm because SD+WK don't have the means to clear/control the medium and hard camps vs. a Batrider. They can't gank because neither hero really contributes damage to ganks before they have levels. They can't push because neither hero pushes effectively and they break towers far slower than Enchan+Drow. And they can't ditch Slardar vs. Bat, because that is an insanely hopeless lane if the supports don't stay to babysit Slardar, but they more or less ditched him anyway. Liquid had a lineup that couldn't actually get the 2 heroes they needed to be threats farmed. The hero that did end up most farmed had the least overall chance of actually being able to control the outcome of the game.

You know in all the years ive used twitch, ive never had a problem. So many people bitch and moan about it, especially EU and ive NEVER had an issue. This is dating back to 2011 when people still used its sister site, justin TV too. Hah.

That's a lot of analysis when all I wanted to do was poke fun at the internet's wildly swaying opinions for crass reasons. In the general case I usually dislike the opinion that people lost at the draft stage. "That's why they play the game!" Unless it's something hideous like C9's support Tinker where a strategy isn't evident then usually it's not THAT bad.

![]() I would stream, but I haven't beaten Taurus demon, or done my normal early game farming so I can actually use things on PC...and that would be very, very boring to watch lol.
