I'm pretty sure NE Ohio is like a dead gaming area. I remember when TBC launched, I didn't pre-order it, I literally showed up to the mall at midnight and was one of only like 6 people, so I just walked up and got a copy for what I think was at the time the largest game launch in history. The Cleveland barcrafts that tried to get going had very little response(I followed the thread to see if it would be worth attending), there's like no local LAN scene. It would probably be different if I grew up in Columbus instead. On the other hand, I remember when WC3: TFT launched here in SoCal. My friend wanted to go get the game at midnight at the Fry's, and the TFT development team would be there to sign your copy. I tagged along because I was going to buy the game anyway and I had nothing better to do.
Man, that line was looooooong. I had no idea so many people were into WC3 and behind us in line was some kid who was talking with these two older folk about UMS games. I don't think we got home till 2:30am.
I played 3-4 games of ranked and lost them all and with that I became Top 500 on US West.

Michael Bubble is a very talented singer, I just don't generally listen to his music.

Everyone likes Les Mis. I think it's my second favourite musical.

(And on another note do/did you enjoy it) The only actual exposure I've had to Les Mis is watching the film adaptation lol. It was fine but it's not something I would go out of my way to see again. How musically oriented are you? I'm curious. (I feel silly asking an asian this question) Same question to those who answer the earlier question I guess. I'm incredibly musically oriented, despite the fact that I have absolutely no talent. I sing everything ever at all points in the day and I've played Alto Saxophone for ~5 years now I don't if know the juxtaposition of your first and second sentences makes sense. Can you be musically oriented, sing and play alto sax and profess to have no talent? It's kinda similar to what I asked Cheep. Of course I can. I'm using the term "musically oriented" to show that I have a really big passion for it. In the sense that I naturally have aptitude for it, in some areas I really do but in most places, I'm total shit. I'm really good at identifying notes from any instrument and playing them back (transposing, etc. etc.) but my reading and tonal shit hasn't gotten much better in five years. It's really unfortunate what I've let happen to my musical training. Did Royal Conservatory up to Grade 9 (probably irrelevant to a lot of you as to what that means---suffice it to say it's a couple grades off from becoming a 'licensed' music teacher I believe---one that's approved by the Conservatory of Canada) but my sight reading was always absolute shit, and years and years of not playing/practicing means I've essentially got nothing left because I can't just pick up a piece and play it like so many people at my level could.
My ear has always been amazing though---my parents apparently did some 'Suzuki method' when I was a baby that's supposed to predispose your kid to classical piano music or something. I wonder if musical talent is genetic or acquired in that way as I'm basically similar to what my father is capable of in every way.

I might have been the most relieved person that Clowney's 4.47 became an official 4.53. I would've been pretty sad if a 6'5 270 pound DE was significantly faster than me.
This post is as subtle a brag as Cixah talking about signing autographs.

There's definitely a not insignificant genetic component, especially as relates to pitch training despite what some people claim. I cite as example my abysmal pitch despite years of significant early life musical training ;;

not that there's anything wrong with that
I've long since stopped caring about what people find "cool" or "masculine" - which is obviously a product of my upbringing/activities
