That feel when: You finish all 3 quests in hearthstone and get a nice 160g stack dropped on you.

160 = 40x + 60y + 100z, x,y,z { R
Two 60g quests then? Easy money, nice.

Easy money, nice. Two 60g 5 wins with X/Druid One 40g "win 3 games" when the others were at 2/5 beforehand.
All this time I had an arena run going that I completely forgot about. 0.o

I've only been playing Ranked, trying to get past my peak of 8 but it's so hard. I'm playing a deck I call Self-Respect Hunter, that means no doggies or Buzzards, and by extension no use of beast synergies at all. Pretty fun.
I really wish I could just put Misha in my deck and tell Leokk to fuck off.

I would think gold/silver/bronze happiness is dependent on expectations, if you're expected to get gold and you get silver or bronze then you're probably unhappy, but if you're projected to finish 12th and you get silver then you're probably happier. Or if there's some genius that is practically guaranteed gold, then you would feel much better being silver than bronze because you beat all the people that aren't the genius.

Sometimes this is true.
The highlight of my athletic career was a Grade 10 silver medal in badminton doubles, I was quite happy with that because the gold medallists were fucking Chinese twins with twin psychic team synergy that shat on everyone. Also one of the bronze medallists was SoulSever so I can rub it in his face forever.

Man I wish badminton was taken more seriously in the States. I freakin love that game. My high school changed the name of the racket and net sports class halfway through so I took the class twice.

I really shouldn't have gone to see 12 Years A Slave today, my mood is ruined for LCS.
On the whole medal count thing: Golds count way more than any other medal. Winning is more important than competing, any high level athlete who's competing for Olympic gold knows this. A very American way to see things, and imo the best one.
And tennis > badminton > pingpong, no argument possible.

Mage v Mage arena I drop Malygos and pass He drops his I drop my faceless and get a second He drops his faceless and now there are 4 Malygos sitting on the board
Other stuff happened in there, including a board wiping 9 damage Flamestrike, multiple 8 damage magic missles, and an 8 damage frostbolt for the win, taking me to 2-0.

The chances of that occurring... much wow.

I'd rather have beat them in the Finals. Sweden is obviously a good team but there's no rivalry there, half the fun of hockey is hating on the Americans.

Ehh, compared to what? More expensive than soccer maybe, but obviously way cheaper than big equipment sports (hockey, football). You need gym shoes (don't need to be special badminton shoes) and a racquet (for like $80 you'll get something of quite acceptable quality for amateur play). Cheaper than curling even.

That's an interesting perspective because the most competitive volleyball players I know have absolutely no problem hitting at girls in coed tourneys. If the blocker(s) leaves the girl as the best spot to hit at, you hit at her. Granted you're talking about a gym class and not organized play where a person can actually say 'winning is all that matters.'
