I've never been so infuriated by a solo campaign before Idk, I don't have internet on my PS3, so it's never been patched or anything, but I never encountered that. Even without the stair trick, he only had like two moves that were both slow and blockable. The dogs were annoying but if you went in that little hallway area to the right, only one reached you at time, and you could kill both with the Halberd strong attack.
Oh, I mean, he was incredibly easy the one time I got past the dogs. It was just me bashing my head into these two dogs stun locking me while capra slowly walked up.
It would have been beyond simple if it was a room any size larger. Idk, I just got tooled by the puppies over and over until I finally was able to get around them.

If you guys haven't played demon's souls, I'd recommend finishing dark souls before diving into demon's. The mechanics are pretty much identical and dark souls is an easier game to deal with. There are some pretty dumb ways to dig yourself into a hole too deep to get out of in demon's souls without you even realizing it.
@Soniv you will fight capra demons later (not as a boss) in a wide open area, and he becomes a complete pushover.

Yeah, already did. One shotting most mobs in the game is really fun. Great Club +10 too strong.
My next build (either in DS or DS2 if it comes out before I get around to it) will be a dex/faith build. I'm looking forward to going back through the earlier parts of the game now that I understand how the game works.

I think I killed every single blowdart sniper in Blighttown by having them fall off a cliff as I dash the fuck away. I'm unstoppable.

Too manly for me, I was a coward, and spear/shielded my whole way through both games, and still have no real idea on how many times I died except for a lot.

Well, I often use Shield + Giant Club, with Lightning Halberd as my offhand (Havel's Ring is baller). Usually only 2H club if I shouldn't be getting hit anyway.
I die often, but often enough to prevent me from loving going *smoosh* on all the enemies

The hardest part about Nito is the skeletons, but you don't even have to aggro the big ones and if have any divine weapon the little ones die before Nito even reaches you.
After that, dudes easy. All his attacks are very pronounced and imo easy to dodge. That being said, my first run through was a 2 handed strength build, so I never really used a shield and you can't actually block any of his attacks.

You, poor, poor soul. Giant club is so slow, how do you use it? zz
I'm so used to Dex based builds from the time I was trying to get into PvP that anything slower than Claymore feels clunky to me. Dex/Faith is goddamn annoying, especially PvP-centric Dex/Faith builds with 3+ casts of Wraith of God and maybe a Dorkmoon Blade and Hornets Ring thrown in for a real fuck everyone build.
Dex/Pyro is hilarious as well, more PvE focused, but once you get good with aiming spells yourself chaos pyromancies can do insane damage to players, if you upgrade and ascend the flame. I think I have 2 toons with it fully upgraded right now, with one right after O&S (doesn't need full rotation of spells if I dont hit Smough's hammer iirc) and the other in NG+

I am winning the war.
HS ladder means nothing, but there is a distinct lack of tournaments.

Smash R2 has good range, big power, and is the fastest of the Great Club attacks. I use it pretty much exclusively. With Havel's Ring, I can carry Great Club, Shield, Halberd, and some Medium Armor while still having medium roll speeds, so I'm not too clunky.
I'm also pyromancer with like Pyro Gloves + 10 or something right now. I don't use them often (Mostly for titanite demons if I end up struggling for whatever reason).
I don't often PvP, but I'm looking forward to going ninja mode stabby stabby with a dex build.
