I ban Warwick every game because fuck that guy. He's not even that strong, but I still hate his shit. Some dude says he wants to lanewick, but I'm like NOPE.jpg and ban that fucker anyway, because I'm not going to fp Warwick and I sure as fuck don't want to play against him. Some other dude calls AD, but I can't carry scrubs this bad as anyone but KING GRAVES so of course that's who I lock in as. So the would-be lanewick after raging at me picks Janna, who would be a much better champion to have on the team anyway. Game starts, our mid buys a dorans ring and disconnects. Mr Mid keeps disconnecting and reconnecting all game while the enemy Vladimir gets fed as fuck, so I just afk farm like a true champion all game. People are like oh no we have a dc its over free lose ggggggggg but I'm like NO fuck that these kids are retarded and I won't lose to them. So I once I have a phantom dancer I start to run around with my dudes and try to salvage this miserable game. Thankfully, since I'm KING GRAVES all of their leads don't mean shit because they just melt anyway. And then we push to the nexus and win. Now seeing what I did in champion select, you might be thinking, "YOU'RE WHAT'S WRONG WITH SOLO QUEUE, YOU'RE A DICK," but don't worry, because in the next game, karma kicks me right in the ass. I'm last pick, I say "YO MANG AD PLS" so of course our dude first picks Caitlyn. But not just any Caitlyn. No, this is exhaust/ghost Caitlyn. Of course, being last pick you can expect to play no other role than support. But I'm not going to support some exhaust/ghost AD carry with a traditional support. No sirree, untraditional summoner spells calls for untraditional support champions. What do you do when you think your AD carry can't even accomplish the most basic task of last hitting? You turn it into a kill lane. So away I went, with Exhaust/Ignite Garen. I'm talking to my bros on mumble, saying "YO MANG I SHOULD TOTALLY GO TO THIS LEE SIN'S RED AND JUST KILL HIM THERE LOLOL" but eventually decide against it and wait in the lane brush, as Garens do. Thankfully the Caitlyn was smart enough to do the one thing that could potentially result in a kill, and that's put a trap on top of me. Naturally, the enemy Ashe facechecks that shit immediately, no volley, no hawkshot, so he gets instagibbed. Unfortunately my AD got the kill instead of me, so I couldn't quite afford another dblade. The game goes on with cait freefarming by herself vs an Ashe Alistar lane because people aren't very good at this game, and I'm just roaming around like a bauss. Eventually I kill lee sin enough that he just leaves the game, causing them to surrender at 20 minutes because they didn't want to play a 4v5. More CARRIED AS SUPPORT stories later. | ||

Last game I'm playing ashe, with shitty Lulu support (huzzah free week lulu) who feeds their graves first blood and two additional kills in the first 10 minutes. Graves is really fed, lane is totally unwinnable. Don't give a fuck, farm as much as possible. I turned the game around with an arrow, leading to a teamfight where I get my first penta kill in ranked (well, it took too long to be an official penta kill, but close enough). Carry the game hard with good arrows and not dying. FINALLY back up to 1200 :D | ||

Reminds me of that work reunion where my boss' son (prob high school too) was there, and the way he looked at us old dudes professionnally active. May as well have been 35 that day, he wouldn't have looked at me any differently. Guess I understand why old timers hate youngsters now... | ||
