if gumi can beat classic, i see him going all the way. herO doesn't have that hunger and desire rn to edge the others out.
If Rogue beat herO, then he will be the new GSL champion and becomes the second one to get G5SL.
Hypothetical scenario in final bo7 series:
Rogue vs Classic (4-3) herO vs Classic (3-4) Rogue vs Gumiho (4-2) herO vs Gumiho (4-3)

Rogue the mad lad . Love to see him prepared
Game 3 is so sexy. Mindgames is always Rogue forte.
damnnn Rogue really prepare for it.
God lord, Rogue is absolute genius
I don't think gumi could have beaten hero, but now he has a path to victory
Rogue's G5SL is possible now.
So, Rogue is confirmed for EWC qualification, right?

no :D still gumiho is playing against Classic

I see. So, Gumiho needs to win against Classic then for tiebreaker match to happen.

yea we can call that "finals" for simplicity
Classic did many things wrong at the end of that game 2 but the last base mining really saved him.
Wow, really exciting base trade situation in Game 2.
Classic was desperately throwing, but storms are simply too good defensively

There would only have been a tiebreaker match if they both lost.
If they both win it’s just the BO7 GSL championship and the winner goes.

Congrats Rogue on his EWC spot, only 3 Terran qualified so far, but hope to have 2 mores after the Global Qualifier
Glad for Rogue as well. Also nice to see TY up there as a caster!
Loving the trash talk between Rogue and Classic right now, and loving Park's reactions :D
Rogue should make corruptors faster, too late to mix into composition.
rogue is desperately trying to pull all the tricks
I thought Classic is dead after losing those adepts to banelings in the middle of the map.
Damn I missed the semis. Was Rogue vs herO a good series?
if classic wins this game after losing his first 2 oracles we know everything
To disrupt Classic's build order, just need to kill first two oracles first.

8 Gate slow Zealot warpins? Can't remember a worse build

That one immortal push slow down the upgrade.
It would feel more right if Rogue won game 2 and Classic game 6 with their cheesy special tactics.
I thought Rogue was going to lose in Game 4. Maybe the luck is still in favor of him.

baneling speed forgotten damn rogue
I think without Drops and actually also coming from the high ground Position this could have worked.
I know this is unlikely but what the hell was Classic doing? giving Rogue all the time to recover for a comeback.
Edit: Protoss win 2 GSL in a row? OP much?
Haha what a terrible terrible ending
Wtf they both did in the last game

that might be the worst ending to a series ever in the history of the game

GG Classic. Did Rogue missclick the all corruptors to attack oracles?
A single mistake that cost it all.

Happens occasionally to some players.

Poor Rogue, after all that. We've all done that before lol. GG to classic though he defended like a boss.
Zerg players hate playing against turtling Terran and ask them to be nerfed, now they cant break turtling Toss.
Rogue's record of being undefeated in final bo.7 series has been shattered finally. Kudos to Classic for finally winning another Code S title after 10 years. He work hard even after finishing military service. So, Creator please don't give up.
Honestly Rogue had no business winning this game with his stubborn lair tech waves. But for I sec I believed that Classic has thrown it by sitting at home too long. Sad for Rogue, GG Classic
Oh no the corrupters!!! Just when he was starting to pull that game back too...

A side note, Rogue's caster control is far from good
for anyone wondering, no they did not confirm if there will be another season.
Congratulations Classic!! I'm so happy for classic, watching his eyes well up made me feel emotional too T_T Long live the Chintoss!

At this point it all depends on EWC I guess
Good series, but damn that was a bit of an upsetting finals (and not in the epic way like MVP stacking his BCs and getting black hole'd)
Was still an intense g7 with how Rogue kept up the pressure/threat and trying to kill/slow the 4th base And even though they were expensive and a bit gross, he had almost double the income so it was still pretty even Classic did wait a bit too long to attack and then Rogue started to get momentum, pinning classic to 4 bases But godamn stacking like 20 corruptors into those archons+storm wtf, at first i thought the casters were getting alarmed because he was going to snipe the Oracles, omg my reaction when i just saw them all bunch up into archons and storms lmao Given, seeing how the final fight went, i don't know if rogue still woulda held that fight? Or maybe he would have with the corruptor threat idk. He still had close to double the income despite the lower workers, so sad...
But it's still cool Classic got another GSL win! And it's cool Rogue is really coming back to form

Another season after EWC? Or maybe they will hold the first season of the next year's seeding to EWC, starting on Nov 2025?
yoooooooo!! GG Classic. Such a likable, dope dude.
A super wild and entertaining series, with a couple of monumental swings and some interesting decisions.
Nice to see Classic and Rogue both in good form.
insane games today, with my favourite outcome, fantastic desplay Classic!! I was in SK in 2019 for the first and only time and i saw him lift the Super Cup trophy there. So cool to finally see him win again! amazing games as well - hugely deserved win, holding those ling bane hydra all ins looked mighty tough. The game with the 2 gold bases especially was great. overall spectacular GSL finals!!

I won't lie, that game 7 was really bad to watch, both Rogue being the antithesis of clutch with some of those moves (and is it just me or is doing hydra-bane yolos on those particular maps a complete suicide against any competent opponent without crippling early advantage?) and Classic almost throwing it away.

I dont get why people are saying classic waited too long. Yes, he allowed Rogue to build a better army, but Rogue never had a bank while classic was floating thousands of min and gas. Also he was careful not to take a fight on creep until it was 100% necessary. Rogue threw the game away, but classic was never in real danger. Great patience from classic.

I felt like he was playing it a bit too Weenie Hut Junior. Allowing Rogue back into the game with Lurker Nydus multi prongeed shananigans felt like one of the only ways he could have lost. There were like 2 minutes where he could have straight up a moved him and won. Of course, the risk of counterattacks is always there, but feels like that risk only increases as time goes on and Rogue gets a chance to max out too, albeit on inferior units. But hey, winners write history, so who am I to judge how the champ played this one out!

I think given how terrible Rogue has been in the late-game, it's fair to look at it like Maru at the peak of his TvZ turtle power being hilarious about slowplaying every lead
