Did Cure use the same build against Dark before?

Love the mindgames from Cure completely convincing Solar he was going bio and I feel like that type of mindgames is a big thing Clem and most EU players don't have.

Not really sure I agree here. Absolute peak Serral feels pretty bullet-proof. I think the contrast between usual Reynor and peak Reynor is just a bit bigger.

Not that any of them touch absolute peak Rogue, cus that guy showed up roughly once a year to ensure everyone else's favorite player got humiliated.

I mean, Clem choked hard in the last 2 games, Reynor is playing well, but I'm not sure he's unstoppable

IMO when he gets in the zone Reynor’s very clutch, but in some of his deeper runs in these big events he’s a tad lucky at times, be it his opponents or his brackets. No astounding play from Reynor knocked Serral and Maru out here.

Perhaps uncharitable but it was no Reynor brilliance that had Maru donate a map at match point with a terrible build and awful mistakes at Katowice when he made his first WC.

Serral at his best is as close to bulletproof as we’ve seen and even he drops sometimes, but when he does hit form it’s often an imperious stomp. See Maru in GSL

Reynor I feel the stars have to align where he both hits his peak form, which is way above his regular and he gets a bit of luck along the way. He also makes group or whatever equivalents exist a little harder as he’s just not as resolutely consistent

Yeah, that's pretty much how I see it as well.
Mutation complete.

Rogue in an offline best of seven wasn't real dude. Just an avatar of pure nightmares. I don't think he really existed.

Most skewed stat in SC2 history given Rogue was either incredible or middling and the Bo7s only ever came up when he was on it because you never play Bo7s unless you get through the early stages

His Bo5 stats aren’t even that remarkable

That's the point of the stat, it showcases that when he hit his stride he was basically unbeatable
Many of the coolest moments in sc2 happen due to worker harassment

Cure may well be the most complete Terran player on the planet these days

He’s 9/10 at basically everything and I think he makes better build choices in a tournament like this than Maru, who is similarly complete but slightly better at everything but the aforementioned

That's exactly the point though. When he hit peak form, he wasn't just better than everyone, he was better by enough of a margin to make everyone else look bad. Not that he had that form more than a dozen times over the years, but so it goes.

A large chunk of those were against Protoss in metas which weren’t exactly favourable in PvZ. At Katowice for example, he faced a Zest who’d already shown all his funky builds in PvZ to even make it there (see Wombat’s LawTM)

His dismantling of Maru when he first sought the G5L was a masterful example of series planning though for sure.

Rogue’s a great for sure I just think that stat is a silly stat

Peak Serral was in a favorable Zerg meta as well so it’s difficult to compare I guess.
Cure looking super strong, he might have a shot vs Reynor after all?

Concerning Hellions damage :

in 2020, Patch 4.12.0 Tumor changes :
"Armored" attribute removed.
"Light" attribute added.

Mainly done to help hellions to deal against creep, hellions should also benefit from a decent DPS against Queens (which have no tag armor), actually their Hellions DPS against a 'none tag armor unit' is less than worker DPS....... (?!)

So buff hellions : 8 + 6 (light) to 12 + 2 (light)
i.e +50% damage against queens,
small impact on heavy armored units....

Something to note about this map is that a siege tank in the exact center of main covers the entire main against nyduses, because the main is so small. Which is exactly where Cure has the tank

That would clearly be broken for a splash attack. Helions are fine, they work well for roasting workers, marines, reapers, lings and banelings.

How many attempts was it? At least 4 or 5 right?

Hellions already fry lings, and if they’re more effective vs Queens with a stronger attack that AoE it’ll make the early game TvZ a complete mess
