Looking forward to it. I hope we see a bunch of prominent names participating this year, since this is the cutting edge of the few parts of the game that still receive active development work currently, even without Blizzard directly sponsoring the event now.
I'm glad the admins have found such an established esports sponsor to support the event, I'm sure we can have fun with it.

The prize pool being reduced is a concern when it comes to getting names testing in a live tourney. I expect some of those who previously played TLMCs refusing this time around. Shouldnt be too much of a concern though

Looks like we got an incredible lineup anyway ^^

Which is surprising, so I'll still stand by what I said. Especially HeroMarine who usually doesn't play it and given what he said in the past about some of the previous TLMC maps (which caused some level of commotion in the forums).

Dark bringing out the Proxy Hatch/Spine Crawler rush in a tournament for helping test new maps.
Brilliant.

Yeah. makes me want to rework the natural walloffs for easier re-walling. Probably should have already done this considering the short rush distances and the general state of Protoss right now.

I think Shipping News would be a really cool map if the 4th and 5th had less minerals / gas than a normal base (so, maybe 6 mineral patches and 1 gas, or 4 and 1). Right now it looks like it could be too turtle-y, especially in Z match ups.
This forcing 3 base play could be a problem, but you could balance that by giving more defensive advantages or messing a little with the distribution of gold and blue mineral patches in between the bases.
