To me it seems like casters are simply foreign biased with few Korean exceptions. I can understand the Maxpax v Trap, but Lambo v herO? If herO is in a bad shape it should have been equal, Lambo isn't that good.

? Lambo's best MU is ZvP and he has high profile wins against top-tier Korean Protoss players. You'd have to be quite optimistic on herO's return to his old level to consider him an outright favorite right now.
I think this is a correct read, but equally herO isn’t any kind of huge underdog here

I wrote it should have been equal. It was equal. Nobody was IMO a clear favorite. So it wasn't an upset or a big surprise Nothing wrong in that IMO.

Yes, probably Byun vs Zoun match were cast from replay. From how I understand, they tend to have KR vs KR matches early, or from replay, so that players dont have to stay up late.

Gotta say Serral and trap got pretty nice brackets to the semifinal, with maru and reynor losing in the round before they both got the easier quarter opponent.
