This is the best excuse yet, but I am sure he was also feeling a bit sick today ! He basically said that Serral is weak against mines. I know you enjoy Serral loosing, but please try not to turn everything into a balance whine. But when Clem was beating the shit out of Serral in EU scence, it was not about the mines, it was about Clem being the best Terran in the world. Not really sure, what you are trying to say? When Serral loses to the best Terran to ever touch this game its lag and cross server play being unfair due to mines. When he loses to Clem and Reynor its because they're the Flash and Jaedong of SC2. I really have not seen people complaining about lag or mines. Saying Serral is weak against mines says nothing about OP mines or lag. Maru played better than Serral. Is there a world where we can talk about a match without alway trying to bait other people?

Well, thats really dependent on the day of the play really. But in general, Serral is really unstoppable at times and so is Clem. Of course the likes of Raynor, Dark, Rogue, Maru can challenge them any day, but thats all. And usually, if we dont count Clem, Serral has been unstoppable by terrans. Today Maru played very well (and used mines) and deserved the win. Its by no means a big upset, but bit surprising of course. Dark>Serral in ZvT and Maru>Clem in TvZ. It has always been like that I wont completely buy that. Dark is very good in ZvT, but generally speaking not as consistent as Serral has been. Maru/Clem is more close one, but generally speaking, Clem has been basically the only terran in the world, who could consistently beat Serral and perhaps Raynor too. Its hard to argue against that. Of course he also gets way more practice against them, so it is an advantage. And not saying Maru isnt great too. are you counting matches played with cross server lag and across timezones? Are you? I don't count them as much as live matches
Then how does this tournament impact the discussion?

Maru does better vs the korean Zergs and can also definitely beat Reynor and Serral even though he doesn't do it every time. Maru is clear You can't count online tournaments

I count all the matches played. I really dont buy that cross server lag- argument, since its the same for both parties. Timezones are usually favored for Westerners, but imo you cant use that argument forever either. Its been this way for few years already and it hasnt been always this bad either. Joona usually goes to sleep within these times, and many many tournaments end up closing like 4-5 hours from now. Isnt that a big disadvantage to him, since he has to stay awake for 20h+ row and stay competent ?
Serral lost to Maru today because he was already too tired to play

the creep tumor is gonna keep Dark alive lol

Two units means that Zerg regeneration is doubly effective for Dark.

They're matches played with cross server lag and across timezones.

This is just like that 1st game in the GSL last season right? Draw in first game and then the same strategy in the re-game.

its' foreigner fanboys bias. don't forget they said clem is best tvz, then dark recently absolutely smashed clem.

Its impossible with these guys. Everything you say is going to be turned into something you didnt mean by purpose. And every single time timezones, laggggggggg, caring about tournament etc. are brought into the play. Then us "Western-positives" are blamed to be so biased by whichever of these topics they want to take on you today. Even at 2018, when Serral literally destroyed everyone, there were these same guys trolling that he wasnt "that good". It gets boring after a while.
